ezmassagebkk, is your all inclusive pricing still non-mandatory so that, if they wish,customers can pay just for the massage,and then negotiate directly with the girl for additional services,while bearing in mind the usual 500,1000,and 1500 baht price points?

What happens if I pay the 2,100 upfront and when I get to the room with the girl, for whatever reason, decide I only want a massage or maybe just a HJ(500). What happens then? Do I get refunded 1,000 downstairs? Or am I paying 2,100 whether I get nothing, something or everything?

you guys get it all wrong, you pay and then once upstair you have the freedom to f*** the girl or not, its up to you 
At any place that make you pay in advance you pay for this freedom, not to f*** the girl, and of course you buy the same freedom for the girl, so she is not forced to f*** you since you pay allready....
isnt it wonderfull all this freedom for such a little price?

On a recent visit to EZ 2 after selecting was asked for 2000. I said I always pay the girl separately. The receptionist said this was no longer accepable so I left. She made no attempt to stop me. Could the management please clarify if indeed this is the new policy.

Hey Anakin, it is not rude to ask. Always ask before choosing a lady. Be it is the lady ever had a baby or if she offer certain services, it is good to ask just to make sure you get what you want.

Hi everyone
Let me try to clarify why we had to switch to all inclusive prices. This is because quite a few times we had problems with certain customers
1) customer who went up and did a massage but did not even give any tip to lady. Not even choosing 500 baht HJ special. You know that the providers make money from the special and not the massage.
2) customers who are not happy during/after the special and do not want to pay anything
Of course this is not a prevalent issue but it is significant enough that we want to cut down on this problem which can turn ugly sometimes. Of course, you can say it is to the shop/provider advantage if everything is paid upfront.
However, we do have an option which you can choose is the HJ massage which is 1000 baht. And if you want body to body, you can top up 500 baht and if you want full service you can top up 1000 baht.
I think this is the best way moving forward.

Well EZ no doubt you know,or at least think you do,what is in your best interest.
There are some customers(mostly Japanese) who prefer all inclusive pricing,and do not like to negotiate directly with the girl.
Then there is the farang customer,particularly an expat or someone who is very experienced in the ways of the Thai P4P industry,who very much prefers direct negotiation.
I fall into the group who prefers direct negotiation,and I will no longer patronise EZ massage.

I must be fortunate as I still do not pay the upfront fee at Ez. I believe this could be that I am a regular customer, choose the same lady and they know me well.
That said, whilst appreciating the reasons that Ez and many other shops have gone to the upfront fee, I do believe it is a retrograde step. From my perspective, many years ago when you went to these places, by not paying the upfront fee it gave you time to decide what and how far you wanted to go with the particular provider - if the chemistry was good you could go all the way but if she was a cold fish, tired, did not seem interested, you could elect to leave. In addition, part of the fun (at least for me) was the "teasing" that went on whilst they "got you in the mood' for the roll over and the question - that has now largely disappeared as everyone knows whats going to happen. A further "development" in the upfront fee appears to be that if you are a westerner and a little larger (in a particular area) than most of the providers normal clients, they keep the massage bit going longer than you would expect because they do not want you pounding them for longer than 15 minutes and expct you to come quickly - certainly not within my capability as I take a lot longer now days
I appreciate both arguements but from my perspective the upfront fee is aimed at only protecting the business and the lady and lagely removes most of the "rights" from the customer. Sure you can complain and or leave but that generally does not end up with you getting your money back or satisfaction. Changing ladies due to poor performance of one does not always improve the situation either as I have had instances where the new lady is not much better and has an "attitude" because you complained about her "sister". Businesses also need to appreciate the different needs of different ethnic origins and provide and accommodate to suit the mixed clientelle
