Wow.. i'm living here. I arrived last night. I got off the plane, smelt in the air and thought - kev, you've come home.
Wandered into the office today (although I dont start work until middle of november) and started the ball rolling on work permits.
LOL. I went for medical. I thought it was meant to be rigorous. The doctor looked at me, said ok, no problem. I paid 150 for it, and it's sorted.
God, I love this place.
Drinks anyone?

He offered translation services on Koh Samed this week with Dew, however, we seldom need translation  so I politely declined. When she says something in Thai that I do not understand, I just answer "dai, dai"

Dr Love.. i'll have the work permit by Friday, no problem. It's what comes of working for a law firm with it's own immigration advisory department and with connections all the way up to Thaksin.
