I hope you can help me with this.
First I wanted to ask if anyone of you know shops like a delicatessen, gourmet shop or a supermarket in Bangkok which imports things like better cheeses, pates, cold cuts etc.. Not only like Tops supermarkets or Foodland.
Does anybody know about this villa supermarket?
I know about "Otto", which sells German foods,which is good, but I'm also looking for places which sell Italian, French.Spanish.......
Hope someone can help.

Try the Emporium Market which is on the 5th floor (I believe) of the Emporium Shopping Center. This is probably the most upscale supermarket in BKK and they have lots of imported foods. It's directly connected to the BTS Skytrain at Suk Soi 24.

Villa Supermarket is excellent....just down past the entrance to soi 33.
Excellent meat selection at the back and many different imported items throughout the shop.
Maybe you are not a member long enough to activate all features.

Food Glorious Food on Sukhumvit 73 or 74, about half way down on the left for mainly Oz and Kiwi meats but has a reasonable section for pies, cheeses and assorted deli products. Not exacty cheap but even Carrefour who carries a lot of French Deli products is not exactly cheap either.

Some difficult to find in BKK Spanish items can be bought from the chef at the Rioja restaurant. But do not walk in and just ask for the things you want. Go there, eat and ask to see the chef. Then when he comes out to talk to you ask him how he manages to find those things. He will help you; he may even sell you from the stock he imports.

Just wanted to thank you guys for the info,
went to Villa Supermarket and to the Supermarket in Emporium which is just across the road.
Both excellent choices for imported goods like Parma ham, cheeses, lamb chops........ and much more.
And the Villa Supermarket is open 24 hours.
I don't live too close to the area but it's definately worth a trip once in a while.

For those who like Villa but do not want to leave their entertainment area you will be glad to know there I smor ethan one Villa.
Nana Area - Ploenchit Tower between the Marriott and the Expressway in the basement
Patpong - next to the multi storey car park where Bobby's Arms used to have an entrance
Salubrious areas - Sukhumvit 49 near Samitivej Hospital and also as noted on Sukhumvit Road at Soi 33/1
The best bread I know of is from La Boulangerie on Thanon Convent opp Irish Exchange (better than the Oriental Hotel as the dough is more sour)
The best bacon and sausages are Yorkie's in Jomtien who also deliver to Villa
The best takeaway Indian is at the Novotel Lotus Soi 33 who stock at the Emporium and Villa
Wine is a matter of choice but I quite like Wine Connection for French wine which can be found at various locations including in the car park behind the Irish Exchange.
Just a few ideas. BKK is such a cosmopolitan place that you can find virtually anything.
