My experience here was also a little bit disappointing as I didn't get enough refund in my opinion, but at least, I did recover something after paying my lawyer and the Court gave me back 90% of its fees.
So, it was still better than nothing, but I would suggest that Manowar ask for at least 20,000 baht even if the "direct" damage is only amounting 9,000 baht. He should consider the time lost and other expenses that will occur during the time needed to recover his money.
Ok, the money implied in this case is not an enormous sum. But the problem here is that some Thais still believe that they can cheat with "farangs" without risk, because most of them don't go to the Court when things like that happen...
