It's not so much English teachers soon discover Japanese women are "false", it's that they wake up to the harsh reality and stigma of being an "English teacher in Japan". Not sure about other parts of the world, but I can assure you that in Japan, a relationship with an English teacher is something most J-girls will neither take seriously nor brag about.

wifey, ( who is Japanese, Japanese, by the by) brought home the Audition movie, and we hunkered down with Gin and Tonics for what we thought was a tender love story........HA!
Boozy- To say that Japanese women are shallow is like saying water doesn't fall downhill. Try living in Japan for a couple of years and marrying one for 12. After this experience, the mystery has only deepened for me.
