I've really been struggling with how I'll fill my sabbatical and so have decided to pit my mighty 5'10" and earth trembling 70kg dripping wet frame against all the most tiresome keyboard warriors available. What no one seems to be willing to tell you, is that when our very own LocalYokul exploded onto the scene of BTF, his posts were not unlike yours, and his reception by many of the self-described 'experts' was no different than yours.
You're popular, and what you are encountering is brotherly ribbing by those that welcome you into the fold - I mean, just look how nicely LY fits in these days, after his initially tumultuous first appearances.
You're two peas in a pod, and LY is just jealous of your popularity... Kinda like an older brother, realizing the younger sibling is coming into his own.

I have already said I believe PB's story about the library. I had a similar experience some years ago and I now feel compelled to pass it on so you will have some empathy for PB. It can happen.
I was taking my usual luncheon break when an entire gaggle of young and not unattractive girls sat down at the table next to mine. I was alone as I was new in town and had not had a chance to make many friends.
As I was eating, I noticed the prettiest of the young ladies seemed to be smiling at me and kept looking at my crotch to see if there was any interest on my part. Her legs were slightly parted giving me the merest glimpse of a panty line and, to tell the truth, I was becoming more and more excited. She began to notice the rising bulge in my pants and parted her legs even farther in order to get my full attention. It was working.
The only problem with this was that she could not have been a day over 15 but could have easily passed for 17 with her perky breasts and tight little ass. I knew there would be some serious trouble if I pursued this any further but I felt compelled to do so.
Throwing caution to the wind, I arose from my table, carefully hiding my risen manhood and began moving toward her table. All the girls were watching me and wondering what my plans were for her and possibly them as well.
It was then that the bell rang signaling an end to our lunch period and the start of 7th grade English.
I thought...maybe tomorrow?

Thank you, Daffy. Penbelly doesn't seem to understand this well for some reason. The posts, of course are sarcastic; it's a joke just as you described above. Has Penbelly never had friends before that kidded with him about himself? Is he so sacred he cannot laugh at himself? Or does everybody got to be on pins and needles all the time worrying about insulting the muscle guy, who's always waiting for someone to just try it?
Relaxed writing... That's part of what makes BTF so great.
But when people demonstrate again and again and again that they take everything very seriously and are so sensitive that they could never take a joke about themselves... well, then the jokes expand. Sorry, that's human nature. And now of course it's almost universal.
In my last post here, amongst the "ribbing", I mentioned that I considered it interesting that someone from Penbelly's background was writing so much. He "suspects my response not to be a kind one". Ultimately he's wrong... The one thing I do appreciate about him is that he keeps typing and trying to articulate his experience (I'm not interested in if they're true or not). I think he should keep doing it; it's healthy. The process of writing is an important activity of mental development.
One thing about BTF is that a lot of things can be published here that would never be published elsewhere. One can find readers for experiences that one would find nowhere else in the world's societies. I'd rather promote anyone to write whatever they want than that people should write or think a certain way.
So, Penbelly (laugh with me now), stick with us, kid (well I'm only 36, but very weak... har har har--see how it's done? One can laugh at the figure they have cut) we'll make you famous and well known and maybe even liked with a group of peers who share a similar interest, say, in Thai women, on an internet forum.
Now, Penbelly, I've gone through a lot of trouble writing these few paragraphs here (rather than something witty which comes more naturally to me). Don't continue to disappoint with some brutish reply. I will think that you didn't read it. And then I will have to go on and on in this boring patronizing tone! God, no.
I'd much rather be reminiscing--as ExpatChuck has above, complimentary to your illuminating and compassionate post--the wonderful time I kissed Kirsten Jones on the lips in a closet during a hot game of Truth or Dare. Man, she was stacked. Her jeans were so tight. Her shirt was too, and one could just ascertain in the darkened closet in which we'd enclosed ourselves for this climatic event of the game, the seamy outline of the brassiere she'd just begun to wear. I couldn't believe she was actually going through with it. In the split second of that little smooch, man, her two hard puckered lips were like all over mine. Well, a little over them. I was kinda fighting her off 'cause I sure didn't want none of them cooties! Just like you didn't want a bad rap. Funny, how you regret the little things. Should've jackhammered her, yeah!

I was 6'3, 180lbs lean in highschool and had little muscle mass. I was considered a twig by most people. From my own experience, I wouldn't consider anyone to be muscular looking at that height and weight.
I believe at 6'3 the optimal weight is between 180-205lbs. Anything less you would start to look like a freak ie England's striker Peter Crouch at 6'4, 160lbs.

Precisely my good Duck!  Why personally, I began to grieve the moment I read his post where he all but vouched never to meet up with the brothers in Bangers.  How callous was that? Geesh!
Here I was set to post an invite after reading his apology to myself  when a second post threatening my future annihilation caused me to hesitate.... 
Yet in spite of that, I know I'd brave the threat of facial removal to buy the bloke a beer and get inside his head for a spell....
