However, I may not agree with your post here exactly. Perhaps you could clarify these 'complexes' or 'gaps'? I feel that you have made a very general pronouncement.
I was with the understanding that p4p was an indulgence rather than a nutrition. The enjoyment, as you say. What are the 'gaps' you conceive of me and you having? Sexual stimulation is constant in life and we can direct its energy toward other pursuits for certain periods until we need to express it, alone, with someone else, etc.
Are you trying to say that a totally healthy person in society (free of 'gaps' and 'complexes') would never engage in p4p? Or that in a healthy society p4p would not exist? Or that 'gaps' and 'complexes' are signs of health? Or are neither positive or negative? What are they?
One has to be satisfied with the impossible nature of satisfaction. We are living craving organisms. Is eating a meal filling a 'gap' or 'deficiency' in my stomach? Yes. OK. Maybe I can understand you in that way. But one can spend money on sticky rice or on caviar. Degrees of luxury, once the need is satisfied. 'Complexes'? In some cases, but not all. What are your 'complexes'?
Don't mean to pry. Could you please clarify? "In search of Beauty" does not sound like a 'complex'... though I suppose it could be caused by a temporary 'deficiency', sexual hunger, desire.

Totally agree with SJ.
I am very healthy and young, successful professionally (I think) and I am sure could get a girlfriend in Thailand if I really wanted to.
The thing is, I don't want the hassle or headache of having to plan my life with or around someone... I want to enjoy while I still can.
I indulge in P4P very often (you can see the reports) and like the fact that I can just go have a good time and leave happy (most of the times anyway) no strings attached.
Am I filling a Gap? Am I insecure? I don't think so...

Now that's an interesting point... I'm afraid God was too lazy to create mankind in a way that we have a chance to achieve something like a healthy (perfect?) society. But if I try to imagine such a thing it would surely include ways for anyone to satisfy all their physical and emotional needs and no p4p would ever be needed... p4p is a result of the fact that our societies our culture are far from being perfect. I can live with that... 
Both sexual energy and jealousy are deeply buried in the human nature and no society will ever resolve this contradiction...

Good. Well, as you say, we may not be able to resolve our inner contradictions through an outside organization. If it could ever happen, it would require rather intensive personal efforts. That is, if its beneficial to resolve the contradictions. Interesting questions.
Well, if we are trying to get perspectives on the issues involved by talking about dreams of ideal societies, I'll have a shot or two...
Suppose we're not interested in separating p4p from other professions. So that all hire-for-money economy would be the result of imperfect society. Wonder if we'd be back to digging for ants on the side of a hill. Damn chimps over there got good ants and we should go get um. Should we offer our daughters for blowjobs? Or just cut off their heads off in the night?

Hmmm. We could separate p4p from other professions by sacredizing it. This has been done before. I see it exactly that way! I never degraded the sex workers and over the years I learned to liberate myself from any guilty conscience... (I am married...) There is no such thing like a perfect solution - to marry or not to marry, beeing a good boy or not. Life is as it is - so make the best out of it...
