Used the search engine but didn't find anything substantial.
I'm about to book a premier suite in Ascott Sathorn. Any feed back on the place? read somewhere it's girl friendly but would appreciate a confirmation (Meritus was supposed GF but made troubles when whe showed at five people one night  )
How about the atmosphere in general. I'm getting rates at 5000+ per night, any idea where to get a better rate??

I spent 3 months living at Ascott last year, and found it to be one of the better places. Was in centerpoint prior to that in Suk, and was 10x better quality. It is expensive though but in my view was worth the price, as always you can get some good deals if staying long term. I was getting 55k a month (on 3month agreement) The pool, gym, etc are perfect. My only issue is the location and the tarffic - its a pain in the arse to get anywhere unless you are happy to use the SkyTrain (about 5-6min walk). I am back in BKK end of year and think I am going to find somewhere on Suk, I just like being more central.

I never went there but he seemed to enjoy it.
I saw ameros peros (sp?) last night for about the 5th time, great movie.

Hello guys,
Going to bangkok in september and considering staying at this place. we are going for a three bedroom suite or maybe a two bedroom executive with a friend. I hear the place is very gf and will be suitable for parties every nite. Any of you guys had this experience? Can anybody tell me which room #'s are better than others?

It is a very nice place with some huge living rooms. Partying should not be a problem. The only thing I would say is a disadvantage is the location. If you don't mind a far cab drive to the majority of party places, then it should be fine.

Dear Mel Gibson,
Thank you for keeping the true Mel gibson's obnoxious attitude alive. I was in bangkok in september, but to my dismay I live in the states. During my September trip I stayed at the center point silom and was not very impressed with it. This time I hope I can try the Ascott. All attitude aside, if you have any information, I appreciate if you can share.
