Another interesting post BK, I like the JBB scale (although technically the spelling of those restaurants is Jollibee I believe). It is something I never think of in LOS, as TGs so seldom have that issue. Breasts are another matter mind you. Reading your post reminds me that I need a good work out soon. 
Daffy, it's true that those places are more hassle, but I would still (and do) go back to all of them (with perhaps the exception of Mexico at the moment, as it is imploding with drug related crime and tourist attacks) because they are fascinating, beautiful places. But certainly a lot less relaxing to visit than LOS.

I think anyone that has been to both places will agree, LA Cafe in Manila is like the Thermae on Steroids!!!

Tyler,, yes FULLY agree,,,, but upstairs LA cafe has far better quality
My trip to Phils in October last year left me never wanting to go to Thailand again,,, but being married to a Thai ( well arguable point, she is Isaan so really is Laos) will make that hard. A Thai wife to raise my kids and a Filipina girl-friend is a perfect balance for me.
BK I assume you stayed at Beaulevarde Mansion again? Did you go to the arab/ leb place up that strett from LA,, good humous tabouli ETC etc,, when I was there they where making a very much larger arabic styled restaurant across the road from the small original.
Jolli-bee,, LOL, yep fast food rules in Phils,, not really to my taste,,, there are lkots of alternatives. AHH but the Jolly-bee hotdog wasn't bad
Not far from Boulevarde mansiuon heading around the harbour toward the Novotel is a group[ of fresh seafood restaurants,,, you buy from the seafood sellers and then choose the restaurant to cook it. 700 BAHT got a kilo of mud crab claws, stir fried in garlic pepper and chilli no needd to add 4 kilo of chilli because the crab was good),, YUM.
BaSICALLY A better MONGER HOLIDAY CAN BE HAD IN THE pHILS FOR far less money.

No, I didn't. My buddy went and booked a room at Pearl Lane Hotel (girlfriendly, no ID check) and for convenience, I stayed in the same hotel. Oh yeah, I did try out the lebanese place across the street from LA Cafe. I took my filipina along for a quick shisha before our shag.

BK how was pearl hotel compared to Boulevarde mansion,, price versus quality?
Did you try one of the LA cafe SUPER burgers,, not cheap but they are BIG BIG.

Can't really comment on Boulevarde Mansion, since I didn't get to stay there at all.
I booked Pearl Lane via AsiaTravel (http://asiatravel.com/philippines/pearllane/index.html), no choice, it wasn't on Agoda. Room was basic, clean, and very new. Internet was supposed to be free, but it didn't work, and since it was the weekend, the tech support wasn't around. Anyway, it was a holiday, so I didn't bother getting online. Location is great, just 2 minutes walk to Robinson Plaza, there you get all the food you want, and lots of eye candy too! And of course, it was only 5 minute's walk to LA Cafe.
The only burgers I had were fur burgers.  Masarap!

Ventured into LA Cafe last night.. was pretty good, met up with some pretties I had seen earlier the night at Tabu. My mate and I took them back to the hotel for some fun.. Was quite nice. It was about 4 am when we got there, and stayed for a few drinks plenty of talent, upstairs was closed.

Get there a little earlier tonight, if possible, say 11pm or so. There are normally better talent upstairs from my past experience. Can't wait to get back there again!
