Went to Shanghai last December.

P4P is horrible and expensive in Shanghai. Up to $300 for ST. In most hotel bars there are women for P4P or you might get contacted in your hotel room when checking in.
If your there on business, your best bet is just to go out with colleagues from China to diner and bars. If a non P4P girl is interested in you, she will let them know.
Off of Julu road there are a few barbershops where you can a BJ. Just tip one of the pikers selling fake clothes on the street $20, and he will give you directions. Relatively cheap at $25. These girls are not attractive though. And I wouldnt stick LocalYokal's dick in them, much less mine.

I was in Shanghai last month. No opportunity for P2P since I had my TGF with me. However, some other observations about Shanghai:
1) Traffic is REALLY bad. A LOT worse than Sukhumvit.
2) Air pollution is REALLY bad. Only Beijing was worse during my trip.
3) Car drivers in Shanghai (and pretty much everywhere in China that I went) are absolutely crazy. Each one assumes they own the entire road and that everyone else will get out of their way. During one 2-hr drive I saw SIX accidents being cleared up. And, one clearly dead body.
4) I rarely saw good looking Chinese girls (everyone has their own definition of what is "good looking", so YMMV). My TGF asked me if Chinese girls have good asses (really, she did). I had to honestly answer that most Chinese girls that I saw did not - and that the quality of Thai girl asses was far superior. It did, however, give me an excuse to carefully examine each Chinese girl I saw.

It's been awhile since I last posted. I have been having fun outside of LOS. For Shanghai, I recommend going to Yuping Hotel. There is a massage/bathhouse located on the right side of the lobby. This place offers massage and FS. Here's my recollection...
When you walk in the place, you will be greeted by men/women behind the reception counter. They will ask how many guests, and a man will guide your party to the changing room, which is located on the right. He will announce/yell the number of new guests to notify his colleagues. If you do not speak Mandarin, just use your hands to gesture the number of guests.
In the changing room, male attendants will greet you and wait for you to undress. They will help secure your clothes and items inside lockers and then hand the keys to you. The keys can be worn on your wrists. At anytime, you are allowed to take items (such as mobile phones and cigarettes) with you.
Next, you are directed to the shower/bath area for you to shower/bath, but be advised that baths are communal. (I am never comfortable being naked with a bunch of men, but if I want fun, I have to go through it.) If desired, you can get a back massage from a male attendant, but I do not know the price. When you are done with your cleansing and have dried off, you are directed to a very small room where you will be given a shirt, pants, and slippers. The shirts and pants are similar to pajamas or hospital patient outfits.
Once dressed, you are directed to a large low-light resting area. There are several rows of leather reclining chairs with small end-tables in between the chairs. There is a bar on the right. A male supervisor will greet you. (During my visits, this person was a tall, rough looking man.) If you have been here before, he may offer you a private room to relax. A young waitress will bring you complimentary hot tea and watermelon slices, but you can order from the bar. (I cannot remember if soft drinks are free.) Almost immediately, he will inquire if you want any special services, which you can wait or decline. If he has never seen you before, he would usually try to find out how you know this place.
Just like the parlors in LOS, you select a lady from a window. The ladies are in their early 20s. They will provide massage/FS for 1.5-2 hours. Fee: 600 RMB (2456 THB) before 4 PM (?) and 700 RMB (2866 THB) afterwards. You can have 2 at the same time... but you pay double.
The massage includes tongue play on your "A" with hot water and ice. The FS can involve a red rope/fabric, which is tied to a metal bar to allow for mid-air treatment. You can have multiple shots.
At the end of the service, before leaving the room, you will talk to the supervisor on the telephone to tell him if you are satisfied or not. (When I was there, more one supervisor would ask me. I suspect the lady will be penalized/punished if the customer is not happy.) Anyway, when you are done, you can return to the resting area or to your private room.
While resting in the private room, I have also tried foot massage. Massages are done by ladies in their late 20s or older. They have nice face but were somewhat large. These ladies will aggressively offer their HJ, which is done covered by a blanket/linen while you are seated. (I would not recommend any service from these ladies because I find the services substandard. Also, it was strange to have my long-time friend getting the same treatment two feet away from me.) Fee: 188 RMB (770 THB) for 45 min. foot massage and 138 RMB (565 THB) for 45 minute HJ.
When you are ready to leave, you proceed back to the shower room. A showe/bath is optional, but not required... they do not care. Once dressed, you exit to the receptionist area, and you pay the fee. There is no tipping. (I did sneak a tip for one of the ladys, but I should not have because management do not approve of their staff taking tips.)
Finally, as in many places, not all ladies perform the same. When I was last there, I was told that one lady was the most popular. She had customers waiting non-stop. Alas, I never did tried her because I did not want to wait.
One more thing... to get to Yuping by taxi, just tell the driver (in Mandarin) to take you to Yuping Hotel (pronounced something like "yu ping lu guan" or "yu ping fan dien" ). Do not worry if you cannot pronounce correct. I can't! I just repeat a few times and they eventually understand.
