Am in shanghai on a mini tour and there is NOTHING going on in either Jululu or maominglu due to police sweep up! they must have gone somewhere - any ideas?

Street Bar Action:
Alot of the mao Ming & Julu Lu action has moved to Hengshan Lu. There you will find street FL and FL in a number of Bars along the strip. One of the newer places in Zapatta's a mexican themed place that is picking up a few more FL. Be aware though that it operates as normal bar and FL are now going there because of the volume of expats hanging out there. There are a number of bars along this street and you can just cruise around and see who approaches you.
You can also try streets around the major hotels - Ritz carlton etc where is you around at night you will be approaced by massagee girls.

There is a place called Happy ???? on Tong Ren Lu across the Rd from Malones. Is Chinese style health sauna - costs around US$100 for massage with HJ. It is possible to get more but depends on the girl. Note you need to smuggle condom in to the massage room as they don't allow girls to have FS - it really does depend on the girl and how you can get along with them. Recommend you carry a sunglass/reading glasses case or mobile phone pouch, cigarette pack with condom inside. You can carry that with you one you have showered and changed upong entrance. They will give you a little zip lock bag to carry phone, glasses, cigarettes etc.

FM - staying with friends of friends so had no covenient access to internet and couldnt find internet cafes anywhere - apparently a fatal fire in an unlicensed cafe had caused a major clean up of all the unofficials?
