Did you manage to unload the wagon in Shanghai after all. Sorry was not able to get info posted earlier.
BTW am currently in Beijing and have spotted some gorgeous, tall ladies around the China World... and the good news is they definitely give off a freindly vibe.

I don't know the city very well yet as this has just become a new part of my business world. There seems to be lots of places to go for a bad massage in a hot room and get a hand job for $25 from plain to OK girls. Also found a bar where you go in and at first it seems like a typical bar in Thailand and then you find out the girls only drink with you and play drinking games for expensive drinks they suck down pretty fast. If someone can guide me to better action close to the Crowne Plaza I would be greatful.

not really dead I can reassure you, but the action won't fall into your hand on a golden plate just like in LOS...
best source is to crawl through the rif, raf & occasional detailed lowdown on current in the newest 5-6 pages on shanghai in wsgforum.com
highlights:
*knock shops aka bbbs (bad barber shops) featuring fs, hj, bbbj or some combination there of for cheap i.e. 100-200cny. problem is locating them, but basically some kind of sex service/ massage should be on offer in the more discrete looking barber shops, which don't really seem to be any hair cutting at all & have some back room etc. best one I found so far is sleazier than patpongs star of light & it's well hidden on huangpi south road (nan lu) 698 shortly after hefei lu crossroad slightly south of downtown. fixed great cim price lying down on a barber chair & free tits & c*** grabbing access. 130cny.
*julu lu, maoming nan lu, hengshan lu & fuxing park (california club) is the places to pick up chicks & they will try to rob you from 300-2000cny for a shag at your hotel (but not at the hilton as they won't allow guests!)
*MP/sauna's - a shag massage session should run 600-700 at the decent places. only trouble is high to locate them, but supposedly there's a japanese magazine 'shanghai walker' available at japanese coffee shops, restaurents etc. & have an insert listing MPs, escorts etc.?
*disco's: rojam 283 huaihai middle rd (HK plaza), baby face 180 maoming south rd, narcisos hengshan rd, long bar shanghai center, cloud 9 hyatt hotel pudong!
