Nice report Chinaronald. I know of some regulars who go there and it seems a lot of them pay 800 rmb at the karaoke joints that they go to for an overnight. I kind of figured there was some wiggle room to go a little lower, but they seem to stick to that amount of 800 rmb, which I think is too much for over there.

Ok, a little update on Guangzhou. Only visited Bars & one mega Karaoke. The bars had lots of Freelancers but language was a problem, very few speak anything other than the local Chinese dialect (Cantonese) and usually Mandarin. My piss poor Mandrin did more harm than good but I still managed a Sister's double play even if only short time. It was not cheap!
My one visit to a Mega Karaoke (500+ Girls working there according to the mamasan) was also memorable. No idea about the cost as somebody else got the bill, I know it cost 100RMB to take the Girl out and the rest was up to her! Asking price was 1,000 RMB for almost Long Time (more on this) but a business friend told me 500 RMB was the usual but as I had one of the only Girls in the place that spoke English she was worth more!
So I gave her 800, she was happy but nervous about staying beyond 4am. She was great and seemed really into it  , almost to the point of aggression! Later she confided that I was the first non-Chinese guy she had been with! She was very different to the TG’s I’m use too but highly recommended. She was worried about staying till morning as they (the Hotels) sometimes get funny about unauthorised guests leaving early in the morning, so it was “almost” Long Time!
She returned the next evening after I rang her and helped me in my shopping were her language and negotiation skills (they put a TG to shame!) saved me more than I paid her in two nights! Great experience!

Beijing short facts:
Beijing has an impressive choice of nightspots (bars, discos...), including salsa places with real latin bands !
Many hotels don't accept chinese girls in your room after 11pm. That's why mongolian or russian girls are so popular there. Mongolian girls are usually not slim (not my taste), but provide the best service (GFE experience and don't take LT if you are not in good shape! wow!). Service by chinese girls not so good, unless you keep the same girl for a few nights.
Usual price in bars and disco's 60/70 euros ST, 100 euros LT. SW could be cheaper but I did not try. Some BBS also offer BJ for 10 or 20 euros, but at your own risk I guess...
Also, lots of saunas, but I did not try. Karaoke with girls seem to be overpriced (at least 50 euros for a room)
Main places:
Henry J Beans (starts at about 7/8 pm for pussy)
It's at the base of Tower #1 of Guomao (World Trade Center)
Hard Rock Cafe (starts at around 10/11pm for the same)
(It's at the Landmark Hotel, right next to Passions Disco)
Maggie's I (starts around midnight for same, mostly mongolians)
(It's just south of the East Gate of Workers Stadium- Gong Ti Dong men)
Hollywood disco: Ritan Lu Qi Xing Dao (meatmarket, about 40/60 girls, mostly russians).
Taxi drivers cannot read our alphabet, so you have to ask the hotel reception to translate these names and adresses in chinese characters, and show it to the driver.

Some night you can find lots of girls in the streets around SanLiTun - but they are lowest level, though may be good looking. Never tried. There presence is due to the mood of authorities.
Then there are innumerable hair-dressing shops where even in the afternoon hours you will see the short-dressed girls sitting in the windows, waiting. No need for a hair-cut, just negotiate the full body massage and disappear with the lady to the backroom, which will normally be low standard. But the girls willing and good in their job.
About any hotel has girls hanging around either just outside (looking like by-passers, asking you at closest point of approach "Want massage?" or at the bar. No problem to take them LT to the room, even ***** Grand Hyatt provides this (quote their GM: Customers expect this...). Highly recommended, though not cheap.
But in China there is double-pricing all along: Foreign barbarians pay at least twice as much as locals. So try and go out with a Chinese you can trust (well...) and let him make the arrangement.
Just the other day I went to the massage in my recreation club (Sino-SwissHotel, next to Capital Airport) and after the traditional relax massage accepted the offer for an oily body-to-body, just going to another room, door locked and in we went for the job with a big breasted cuty who knows her duties very well and was just great. A quicky it was, I admit - but my family was outside by the pool, waiting for me to return for tea - so I really could not have more then just a good, deep, healthy full relaxation

by the way:
100 US really is a lot out here, the girls have an average personal income of only 200 US a month - so they are far up the scale in wages/earnings.
You can have them for 50 US normally, after some discussion they will agree.
But then again - it all depends on what you think the value of such a meeting is for you.
China for foreigners certainly is not the place for cheap sex.
