Well, I'm not very good with the field reports so I will just be putting down some highlights of my one week in phnom penh.
Note - Most of you guys won't have the same kinda experience since I knew a local (not really a local, an expat, there and he knew the nightlife very well and has connections. I'm not gonna go into any more details regarding him but everything was straight VIP for us. Also, the places I went to, there were not many farangs at all. I don't know if farangs just don't go there or it's just really hangout for locals.
- World Massage Parlor - similar to a soapie massage in thailand...fishbowl atmosphere, mostly khmer girls, but also some viet girls. Interesting story regarding this parlor. I saw a few cute girls but i wanted a vietnamese one. Told Mamasan I wanted #6 but she accidently beep #56 to stand up even though I wanted #6. Saw #56, she was more stunning than #6. I had to make a decision...decided to stick with #6. She got out, but then I looked at #56 again and wanted her instead. Mamasan said it's cool, told #6 to come back. I think she was kinda angry, but I didn't care #56 was just so damn hot. Had a great session with her. BBBJ for about 10 minutes, put on condom, she rode for about 10 minutes, and then got on top and finished off. Fun girl..very sweet!! Would go back to her next time I'm in PP. (Face - 9, Body - 8, Service - 9, Cost - $35 plus $10 tip)
- There are 3 main "music restaurants" aka clubs in PP. Actually there were 4 but the one at the Holiday hotel was closed down at the time. Apparently there was a drug crackdown there. My friend told me that that was the most happening place before. But anyways, I will mentioned the other three I was able to go to.
1) Pacific Kiss - Really laid back atmosphere. Did not see any farangs there. Mostly Khmers. My buddy knew the owner and also the mamasan there so we were taken into the VIP room. It's pretty much an all glass room closed off from the outside. But you can still see the dance floor and watch the band play. Band would play khmer music for about an hour and then switch to techno for about 30 minutes. During the techno music, all the working girls would go on the dancefloor to dance. You can pick a girl from the dance floor and tell mamasan. She would be hanging out with us in the VIP room. I swear, she can drink..she was downing more shots of BL than me..but that's another story. Told her to find me a cute lil khmer girl with a nice body. Of course that meant her bringing in every single girl until I decided which one i like. After about the 10th try, I picked my girl. Pretty light skinned, tight body, cute face. Most of these girls would give the best GFE ever. They are so friendly but not overbearing and not extremely aggressive. It's like bringing your gf with you on a date. They would take shots with you and just hang out. If you have them sit and hang out with you, there is a $5 charge to the house tab. You can always send them away if you see someone better later on. Sending them away also meant giving them $5 if you want to be nice. If not, then you just send them away. I always gave them $5 though. Anyhows, you can take them out and have them stay LT for $40 not including tip. This is the price my buddy told me so I don't really know if that's too much or not, but I just assume he knew and followed him. My tip ranges from about $5 to $10 depending on how much fun i had with them. I really like this place because it's very laid back and there was no awkwardness at all. There are plenty of cute khmer girls there, but not many viet girls.
2) U2 -not really a dance club or anything like that. There is a dance floor, but there is also a band playing khmer music every 45 minutes or so. They have musicians switching off every song. Decent size dance floor with tables and booths all around. We always got a booth coz my buddy knew the manager and he always saved us a booth even though we would show up very late. But it appears that to get the hookups, just slip the manager a $5. That's about it I think. It's cool if you come back often. Anyhow, this is not really a place to pick up girls. Usually, I would bring a girl from Pacific Kiss and hang out with her at U2. They apparently love the music. I didnt' care for it though. There are a lot of beer girls walking about trying to get you to buy budweisers for like $4 a can i think. Some are cute, but are not very sociable. I don't know if you can take them out, but I'm assuming you could. I just didnt try. I was always there with a girl. There is, however, a place on the 2nd floor where you can pick girls. It is run by two gay mamasans..i guess papasans. I went up there to check it out but not of the girls were to my liking so i decided to pass. It was a lil late so maybe all the good girls were gone already. Don't know! Anyhow, U2 is okay just to take a girl out to. It's not really a pick up place. However, I did see a few tables with all girls so I don't know if they are working or if they were just all out to have a good time together. There is never a cover charge for any of these "clubs". Apparently, this is also the place where a lot of the rich and priviledge khmer guys go out to hang out. I still can't get the image of a whole bunch of khmer guys dancing together in a big crowd. It is just too funny for me but I guess for them, it's totall normal and cool. Definitely saw a lot of cute girls there also. I think most of them were with guys though, so like i said, you usually bring your girl there with you. The music is bumping though and I finally hear a hip hop song for the first time the whole trip. It was, of course, "In da Club" by 50 cents. I thought it was funny!
3) Finally- Club Casa - This is the place to go after midnight! Tons of freelancers roaming around. There is also a mamasan there who will help you out. She will go up to the girls for you and ask them if they want to go with you. I usually tell her a couple of bucks. A lot of the girls are in groups. This is the only place where i saw a couple of farangs. Apparently, this place used to be pretty dead because the Holiday hotel club was happening. But now it has moved to Casa. The music is mostly chinese/japanese techno..no hip hop or rocknroll. I noticed that a lot of ppl here are dropping. I felt like I was at a rave or something. Other than that, I thought the atmosphere is great. Tons of girls to choose from. One girl I hooked up with told me she doesn't do a lot of freelancing but she was short on rent for the month. So some of these girls are "almost" normal girls. It was also fun to bring a girl i picked up at PK there also. They love to dance and can get really freaky on the dancefloor. It was a lot of fun. Total GFE with all of the girls I hooked up with. Cost is about $30-40 for a FL at Casa.
I usually pay 45 bucks for LT for all the girls i hooked up with. This might seem like a lot for cambo, but I thought these girls gave me great GFE. That's what I'm always looking for. I just dont' want to pick a girl and then take her back and straight hit it and then bounced. That's not really my thing. I want to show her a great time. Then hopefully she can give me a great time later on that night. I think that strategy worked out well for me!!
I know i am leaving out a lot of details so if anyone has any questions let me know. I'll try to be more detailed as possible.
I have to admit that I had a much better time in PP than in Bkk. The girls in PP gave me the GFE that i wanted whereas I thought most of the girls in bkk were just "doing their jobs".
Overall, I will definitely be coming back to PP again! I had such a great time. I might even consider spending more time in PP than in BKK.

Nice report, I have been thinking of going here for awhile now, but not got around to it, to busy. What are the local gals like looks wise compared to our little darling Tg's. Also are there as many Viet gals around as I have been told, the main reason for going there is I want to checkout the Viet scene, oh and the culture of course and some of them old kinda buildings.

Comparing viet girls to thai girls, I feel that viet girls are more natural beauties. They are more appealing to me because I am used to seeing them here in the states. I met a few viet girls and they tell me they usually cater to farangs and chinese guys. In general, in PP, you don't see many ugly girls. Most of the girls in PP are good to stunning. In bkk, I noticed that there are a lot of way below average girls and then there are the extremely gorgeous girls. Of course, there are more beautiful girls in BKK, but in PP, you won't ever see any ugly girls.
I don't know much about the farang scene like Martini's and Sharky's so i really can't comment on the girls there. But the girls that I see were truly mostly gorgeous and they gave great GFE.
You should make it down there and check it out at least once!

NM if you do get over try Martinies and Sharkies I think you will like what you see and are after,any motto driver knows how to get to them.
I liked Martinies if you go solo,seat yourself down and watch the girls circle around look for a man for the night,
agreat way of picking your girl,95% are Viet.

I did drive past Sharky's. This was during the daytime and the area was pretty crowded. I didn't get a chance to actually go inside since I was heading to lunch. Next time, I will be sure to check it out though. Is Sharky's and Martini's mostly catered towards farangs and expats?? Do a lot of asians go there? I didn't see many outside. I think I saw a couple of farangs and expats hanging out outside. That was it though. I didn't see any asian guys. I'm asian american so I don't know if i will get that special treatment like most of you farangs! Oh well..i will have to check it out anyways next time.

I'm working on it. I think next time, I will have to write down some details on places and events. I just can't seem to remember everything in detail. It's all like a blur. Maybe I can't believe some of the things that went on or what. But it's difficult to remember every lil thing. Next time though, i'll be more prepared..video cam, digi cam, voice recorder...everything. Hahaha

There were never any negotiating going on, so I could have been paying too much and they didn't care to mind. But like i said, my friend was my only point of reference. It could have gone up..I'm not sure! I guess the girls were never disappointed in the amount i gave them. I will have to do some more research on that for next time. Most of the girls i hooked up with did not go out with farangs...or so they say. I'm thinking it is because PP is not really tourisy yet and they dont' work at locations where a lot of farangs go to either.

Shawn I dont think you will have any Drama with any of those places,yes there are farangs there but not as many as you think,next time your over go in and have a look.

USD20 used to be the rate if you scored at Martinis etc. I suppose a more classy place...with private booths etc. would merit a bit of a premium.
