I understand Rainbow 2 was refurbished in July 05. I was there just before then with a great girl called Mam, who I'd also seen in February. I forget her number, sorry, but should you by any remote chance talk to her, you might tell her Sean from England misses her! Okay, it's unlikely, but thanks anyway- I've lost her email address.

Spent a couple nights at R4 recently. Overall I liked the place, especially seeing all the gals hanging out in the mens room preening themselves in the mirror. LOTS of gals working there, some had real fine bodies. Like most places, a couple pyscho skanks were to be found as well. Some gals a bit pushy with the sales pitch. BF'd one gal on my 3rd visit (2K S/T). She looked better up on stage than up-close. Off-stage..... not so great body, and a crappy f_ck to boot. Chock that up to poor selection on my part (good from far, but far from good), and not what was available in R4 that night.

Personally I find rainbow 4 offputting, crowded stages, and crowded seating.
Hardly a place to relax at all....

It is beyond my understanding that this bar seem to be to the liking of so many peoples.
Crowded with japanese, hight drink price, unfriendly staff, very pushy & not so good looking girls with terrible attitude...
Unless of course some guys like to barfine only greedy starfishes? (yes, most of the girls in R4 ARE greedy starfishes, a few are maybe good looking but this is no excuse!)
I would only recomend this bar and those girls to someone if I was trying to spoil his first night in bangkok!

I had the same experience at R4.. Bad attitude to add.. Not a very friendly environment at all... Maybe my next visit will be better....  Always an optimist !!!!!

Pros: lots and lots of eyecandy to look at
Some girls friendly and stay with you for 1 or 2 hours on one drink
Cons: bad ventilation
I guess if you stay away from BFining and pick the right girl R4 is the best place in town!
PS Madfrog, why do you always have to write negative reports about places?

I recently spent an evening cruising around a few bars in NEP that did not have the word Rainbow over the door. In three bars that I would not normally frequent I found the most attractive girls were, IMO, the equal of the best looking Rainbow girls. Much better attitude too.
One down, two to go...
