To start off, I think Soi 33 is great for a relaxing evening. Yes, the bar fine is high ( 1600 bahts when I was there last week ), but the there were stunners there that I would not hesitate to bf. As a matter of fact, I bf'ed a girl each time I went there. Obvioulsy, after the first bf, if the girl likes you, she will give you her cell # in which case, you can call her privately and if she is not bf'ed that night, she can come to your place after work ( 2:am) and therefore save you the whole bf. So what's the difference between soi 33 and the gogo's ( which used to be my favorite but no more) ? I found that the gogo girls nowaday are all pushing for ST so they can go back to the bar after the deed and tried to hustle for more business. I would not be surprised if the " hot " ones get two or even 3 ST's a night. It's the volume business they are after. So if you are picky with your ladies and only wanted the " hot " ones, good luck if you can get any of them to go LT. Some of them will agree with LT but then make lame excuses why they have to leave early. I now favor soi 33 bars because of the easier and more relaxe atmosphere. And because the bf is high ( relatively speaking, but it's only $40 US if you think about it), they don't typically get bf'ed that much. I have known a few real " hot " ones that only gets bf's once a week if they are lucky. This gives you the " fresher " girls who are not as hardened as the gogo girls. Many of them actually are very part time. However, not all soi 33 bars are stocked with beauties. I only found 3 places that were worth my time staying. Renoir, Dali and Santana 9 in that order ). I have bee reading a lot about the clubs on Soi 33 like The Office, Renoir, etc.
I have never been to such establishments and would request you friends to give tips on the following:
1. Are there any entry charges and is it compulsory to take a drink?
2. How do you approach the girls? Is there a mammasan or pappasan, to whom you tell like in go go bars? If not then what is the procedure to call the girl whom you like?
3. Do these girls go for ST/LT? What services they offer and what are the prevailing rates going on?
4. Do you have to pay some fine to the establishment?
5. Lastly, please suggest which one should I try?

Hey there friend LoveLess, welcome to the Forum  It's obvious that you've been reading a lot about the clubs on 33. To answer your questions in the order that you posed them (because we're mostly very well-organized horndogs here so I can't imagine why no one has answered them before)...
1. There are no bar entry charges... only girl entry charges, which vary depending upon how frequently she is entered and where. It is definitely NOT  compulsory to take a drink... you can simply sit at your leisure and admire the merchandise  This approach is recommended because all Thai women admire a man who is tight with his money... the tighter you are the more you will be respected. All the bros will confirm that "tight is good". Don't waste your time at places like Q Bar that take your money at the door.
2. The oldtimers on this board (like Mr Smegma, who is nicer than his handle would suggest) will tell you that the more DIRECT the approach, the better. It is best to slip your hand up under the girl's dress (be discreet of course) and test her private parts for moisture... "the more the better" is our rule of thumb  but you can also use your forefinger if it is clean. This works particularly well if you have followed my advice above and avoided purchasing a drink, because the girls will be more receptive 
Most of these lounges do have "mamasans" who will help you finalize your pricing and other details with the girl who has the best moisture... but be VERY careful here because all mamasans will try to divert your attention so that you will GO WITH HER instead.  Don't be too friendly... remain focused on your goal and insist on a strictly professional relationship with the mamasan.
In the smaller bars that have no mamasan it is best to "call the girl whom you like" on her cell phone - she will understand what you want. Don't be discouraged if she doesn't answer... just leave an sms and she will normally get back to you within a few minutes. It's best to enable multimedia messaging; most of the ladies don't use plain text anymore because it's obsolete as I'm sure you know.
Configuration advice is available on the Tech section of this forum, or you can pm VancJay who will sometimes answer if he's in the mood. (Do NOT ask S05 for advice... you will get a recording that says something about "good to go" which is not helpful if you are a newbie. In fact, it's pretty useless even if you are not a newbie).
3. These girls do indeed go for ST/LT. Even BLT if you are hungry  Most guys don't know this, so you will arrive with an advantage which is the reason it is good to be a member of BTF. Be sure to mention BTF during your negotiations because most places will then give you the "oldtimers member discount". (Note that if you don't have a member, this will not work). Just say "BTF rules" and they will know what you mean. If you are asked for a password, it is "bkkz" with a lower case "d".  Unfortunately it won't work if the server is down.
All the rates are published on a menu, which is available in several languages, and if you pay in yen you will always get a better deal. Remember that the rates going on are much better than the rates that are not going anywhere.
4. Yes, it is required to pay a fine at most of these establishments. This is because they provide such fine merchandise. But you will fine that many places will give you a discount on the fine if you mention BTF, thereby proving that you are not a sex tourist. It helps to know a little Thai language here... you should say "My Tong Fine" and then smile while nodding your head  They will know what you mean and you will likely fine that you do not have to pay any fine at at all. I sincerely hope that these instructions are clear... it sounds more complicated than it really is.
5. Lastly, I would suggest that you try as many places as possible... do not under any circumstances settle for the first girl who has nice moisture... this is fatal and will mark you as a man of weak character. As Confucius said, "There is always more moisture downstream". (You may remember that Ben Franklin said "All cats are the same in the dark" but he was a typical American with his head up his ass and had no idea what the f_ck he was talking about).
A sound strategy is to go around to many different places... we call this "testing the water" and we all use this approach (which was originated by Pinga and subsequently refined by Colorado Guy) because it works so well. Remember DG's motto: "When in doubt, keep moving because there will be another wife at the next place".

First some general guidelines:
Soi 33 clubs are generally just that, 'nightclubs', and each has its own personality, some with entertainment, some music, pool, food, whatever. But all have drinks and all have girls to chat with you while enticing you to drink. Many go ST & LT - up to them.
There is no guarantee that all the girls there are good to go as those in beer bars and go gos generally are. But money talks, and charm helps, more than elsewhere. Expect that the club barfines there will be 2 to 3 times those of barbeers and go gos, plus the girls' personal fees, likewise.
Catch the attention of someone you want to get to know better. You can generally negotiate all arrangements directly with your chosen friend, without need for intervention by mamasan or papasan, unless you would particularly like their advice. Buy your friend drink (s) (they're called 'lady drinks' because the lady gets a percentage of all you buy for her), and chat her/them up first to see if they are good to go - with you. (Contrary to advice above, fingering the merchandise in some places is not recommended wth everyone - unless of course she's open to letting your fingers do the walking....)

Hey DF, I for one enjoyed your advice to our newbie friend.
Was their a relationship between your state of mind and the time of post (12:32 am) ? 
Another tip, although it's not compulsory to have a drink, perhaps you could ask for 'water' (nam plao). This will set you back only 20 or 30 baht and you can, just like beer drinkers, roll around the bottle in your mouth to let the girls know what the purpose of your visit is.
