Everyone (well a large number of people) complains about RB1-4 because of the high prices, sometimes lack of quality, lack of LT, etc etc etc. This thread is full of various complaints.
Me personally I love the places. When I go there I know what to expect. I know I may pay more in them bars that in others in NEP. I know the quality of the girls. But even with all this knowledge that everone who reads this site has you all still continue to go there. Why?
Instead of giving yourself an excuse to be upset and not happy with whatever service you get/got then why not just go somewhere else?
I know what draws me to them bars but I am curious to know what attracts the people who complain about them all the time.
Paddy, very fair comment. I used to go to all the RB bars quite often but now I don't. I choose to vote with my wallet and I do post my opinion as well. It's just amazing to me that Gogo bars (almost all of them now) have so many disgusting chicks on stage these days. We are talking really fat, old, hideous chicks that, honestly, I think they let any chick who wants to, work in these bars. What ever happened to some basic screening?
Yes, I do realize that you can also find some hot babes too, but I think they is an ever-decreasing ratio of these as these girls can get better money elsewhere. In summary, I agree with your point about "voting with your feet" but I think another reason to post our opinions here is to provide intel on these places for all the posters. I know that when I want some good intel on a place, I will peruse this forum...therefore, I will continue to post my opinion. Cheers.

Thank Buddha someone is prepared to speak the truth. I thought I was alone in thinking the quality in Go-Go bars is piss poor. I frequent Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy and struggle to find a cutie despite being willing to pay top baht. I think that many of the cute girls prefer to freelance now and not be tied to the fixed hours that a Go-Go bar demands.

I must concur,,, the quality has degraded over the last several years.
But I did find a pair of beauties ( 8+) in Sharks bar in January,,,and no it didn't cost a fortune.Dinner and 2,000BHT each covered the L/T arrangement.

Hey Mel, have no problem (now) with you at all...just didn't like that assumed "arrogance" comment vs. Jaypoet...enough said as that "horse has been beat to death, revived and beaten again." Glad it's over. I will stand by my fondness of Mel the actor though....easily one of my all time favorites.
Yes, we do agree on the decline of the Gogo bars and I do believe Shark has a couple of cuties left....Actually one of them went with a Mate of mine....she was hot. Saw one or two cuties in Wong and a couple in Long Gun too.....it's getting so hard these days to "get hard" in these bars...

Some of the "greeters" at Shark are quite pretty but sometimes they are let down by their English skills.

jimmy, With the 500 or so words of Thai I can remember ( 400 when drunk) and their basic English I usually have zero problems.
Money as usual is the common language, and I believe every Thai working gal knows the words "Long time" and "Short time", and 1,2,3, thousand Baht.

Thread has been quiet for about a month. I come to BKK in 16 days and I would like some tips on individual (i.e. numbers) of certain girls in RB bars. The more details the better. And please don't digress into a "NEP is not as good...NEP is declining....no cuties....cry cry cry" tirade.  I have been here a lot...I know better. If you goofs who live in BKK and don't want to pay 3,000 ST just stay the hell away from NEP it will be less competetion for the rest of us. I am getting awful sick and tired of the same thing being repeated over and over again.....pretty soon a newbie or somebody doing some research is going to see this thread and get a clouded view of NEP. I have been in and out of NEP for 11 years and have more experience than 90% of the posters here and I say fro the umpteenth f***ing time:NEP's selection goes in cycles. In the fall you may think "Man,not many cuties" come back in the spring and there are so many babes I want to f*** I have to write down where they work to keep them sorted in my planning. And,yes Iv'e been to your beloved discos,boys. OVERRATED. Girls throw on designer clothes and a farang goes "Uhhh,stunna". Sorry,about the length here but I needed to vent this time....

I hada absolute darling from Shark 2 weeks ago, never heard a bird scream so much while just giving her a growl, went back on my 2nd last night but she was gone, so sent her a SMS and she wanted to meet up the next night but unfortunatley I was busy.
