For some brief moments this evening in Carousel, sometime between 10:30 and 11, I had flashbacks of 1999 on the main rotating stage. There were only 2 girls, good-looking, doing the kind of show that used to have me going to Nana too often, before the Purachai era. Nana seems to be loosening up slightly, and what I saw tonight gave me renewed hope.

I dont know about the show because I did not see it, but I was not impressed with the quality of the ladies at any of the bars at Nana I visited last night (with the possible exception of RB1) :
RB1: Good as always (11-11:30) I do not think I have ever visited this bar and not been able to spot a lady I would BF.
Playskool: Worst I have ever seen it (11:30-11:40) Two line-ups of 4-5 ladies; only one I would screw but I was not drunk enough last night. This is a real shame for me because I think they play the best music in Nana, but about the only thing that would have kept me in the bar would have been a live performance by AC/DC.
RB4: Not bad, but not up to RB4 standards (11:40 12:20) - Heard a few of the ladies complaining about the lack of Japanese customers as compared to Farang customers. I did find one bird that was of interest, but her English was not good, my Thai is no good. She apologized on her English skills saying most of her customers are Japanese so she works harder learning Japanese; my Japanese skills have waned over the past three years to the point about all I can do is give instructions to a taxi driver in Tokyo. If all I had been looking for was a quick shag she would have fit the bill.
Carousel: IMHO nothing to write home about - not one (12:20-12:40) I might have stayed to finish my beer but two birds kept pestering me for lady drinks.

First time in Carousel last night. Surprised to find a magic show in between "naked girls soaping themselves up" show. It was a predictably bad magic show but we didn't go there to watch an inept illusionist.
Some good lookers, generally friendly girls, decent music, and nice shows. Overall, I enjoyed it. I'd go back.

Got to put in a good word for Carousel here. I was out tonight with Joe Wood to Nana. Now, he has this damnable habit of paying the bill whenever you got your back turned so I decided to "check bin" when he left for the bathroom.
The bill was 405 baht. I gave (I thought) 4 100's and a 20. But, in fact, due to the low lighting, I gave a 1000 and 3 100's and a 20. The girl, sweet-hearted honest girl that was, came back to me and said "This is 1000 baht". Amazing! She could have totally ripped me off and I wouldn't have noticed until I got home and noticed that I was missing 1000 baht. Nice job, Carousel. Her honesty earned her a nice tip.
That and the "magic show" (how did that dancer get that milk into the bottle which was inserted into her vagina???) will ensure my future patronage.
Also positive notes from Angelwitch and Pretty Lady. Angelwitch rarely disappoints and that "denial" girl (all 19 years old of her) sitting with Joe was quite a sight. Beautiful as could be. Number 70.... something. Can't remember exactly. My lady was working me extra hard as well and it took a will of iron to leave Angelwitch without a lady in tow.

 I don't know if this is the norm but I went in here about a week ago and bought only a water and 2 ladies drinks. The show girl quoted me 3000 ST. WOWOWOWOW and I took her two trips ago. So I check binned. WOWOWOW again 500 + like 220 per ladies drink and my water was something like 120 THB or so.
