On the subject of RAINBOW 4, I'm fairly new to Agogo but my girlfriend was out of town and I went there last night just for some drinks and a look but it was impossible to just sit and take your time over looking at the girls on stage.
As soon as I sat down I was harrassed by dancers sitting next to me asking to buy them drinks. I tried to turn them down politely but was met with evil stares. The atmosphere was quite oppressive so I bought one a drink just to take the heat off me but then she had no intention of going back to dance again. So I bought some more drinks, she was making me nervous...
Then her friend came over and ordered me to barfine them both, I managed to talk my way out of it but barfined one of them and was made to pay an extra 100 baht by the old hag collecting the barfines.
Then they started fiddling around with my bills for drinks. Lets just say they were in total control of the situation and I got ripped off here too. Anyway, I managed to escape eventually by paying her off although she wanted to come with me. Basically, I had to pay to leave.
Anyway, there was no way I was chancing taking her back to my apartment and leaving her scent around for my missus to detect when she came back or worse still taking up residence with me.
Funny thing is, all I wanted was to do was go for a drink and a look. I've been to the Dollhouse before and another bar in Nana and it was ok, is this thing just typical of RAINBOW 4 or is it a usual thing in Agogo?

pedro, she stayed with you because you bought her drinks. Buying them a drink is a universal sign that means "I want you to stay and talk to me." Buying their friends drinks is the universal sign that usually means "I care nothing about money." Regardless of whether that was your intention, those are the signs. Sounds like these girls read the signs well.

A few tips if you don't want to talk to a dancer when sits down next to you:
1. just ignore her or start a fictional (or even real) call with your mobile
2. if this does not help then just tell her that you do not buy her a drink or tell her that you are waiting for a lady friend
3. if she still talks to you or even touches you then tell mammasan that she is herassing you
4. or just pay the bill and leave
5. if you want to stay in the bar and all of the above did not help then it means war for me and I will make sure that she will lose face in front of all the other girls. Just start flirting with other girls and completely ignore her, or pick up your bill and move your ass to the other side of the bar.
Be careful that you make yourself only unpopular to this girl and not to all the other ones if you want to stay there or come back later.
I did bring number 5 into action only once. Number 1 or 2 is 95% proof.
Just be firm and stay polite as long as possible.
NEVER and I say NEVER give in by buying her a drink.
Paying a barfine and then leave without the girl is really an insult to yourself.

The BG's are like sharks to blood in the water, and they smelled yours a mile away, lol! Agree with the above comments -- you are in control in the go-go, unless you fail to act. The girls are there to part you from your money, after all, it's their job. "Just say no" works fine, and if it doesn't, or you feel you are not being treated well, then just pay your bill and leave. Period. No need to sit around and be harassed.
The gogo's are typically higher pressure than other venues (e.g., beer bars), so you have to push back almost the minute you walk in the door. Once you do that, the girls (and mamasans) usually get the message that you're not a pushover and you will be treated accordingly. Never, ever b/f a lady just to get out of a gogo, and certainly don't tip a mamasan for the kind of shit that was going on in there. Just smile, pay, and leave.

Hi,
penbelly is right. That one always works.
It may be a little awkward to sit beside the girl while she asks you buy cola for me every 10 seconds, but she will get tired of this as fast as you!
But RB4 is one of the worst Gogos for me; only reason to go is to get a pretty girls in a minute and go ST..... so if you really need release. For anything else other places are way better.
