Was driven out of the Carousel in October, as the music went from loud to blasting, and it actually made my ears hurt pretty badly. So I check-binned and HALO dived. Figured I'm too old to be losing more hearing; typical Thai DJs. Feel sorry for the girls, their hearing is being damaged by that level of noise.

Carousel was a good busy last night, with lots of friendly dancers and waitstaff.
I like the fact that the waitstaff will play with you there, and I think that most of them are good to go. Just beware that if her LD of choice is a beer or wine cooler, rather than a coke, then your charge is going to be 230/240 a pop. But that's all I usually buy in there. It can get a little expensive, but for my money it's the most playful place in Nana.
The single dancer on the mini-stage next to my seat kept on bending over to offer her ass for a rub. It was silky smooth and her stomach was rock hard. Unfortunately, due to some distractions, I forgot to tip her. Sad to see the old Carousel shut down now on the third floor of the Nana Entertainment Complex. What with what used to be the Hollywood Strip long gone, that makes the whole side of the third floor dead. And that's a bit worrying. The third floor had so many advantages over the lower floor bars.
The Carousel was a good place for many years and had a good reputation. It had gone through many forms, ranging from the raw sexual dildo and strap-on shows, oily and soapy showers, all type of imaginable insertion shows, erotic dancing as opposed to shuffling, lesbian shows to mild dancing, the Bangkok shuffle and magic and fire shows.
The good boss just might have over-extended in his range of business interests in these financially challenging times and so felt he had to go........rather suddenly, which was a shock to all the girls turning up for work.
But most of them understood, in these circumstances when lots of people are strapped for cash, especially if there is no salary coming at the end of the month.
They all liked him. He was a good manager to them. And he tried, within the restrictions imposed at various times to give the customers what they wanted, although not personally, you understand.
Some, though not all the girls have found work in other bars within the complex. DC10 bar which is on the second floor, two bars after Angelwitch but bang beside Casanova, being newly renovated and under a new owner has quite a few choice maidens from Carousel, although there is no showing as it was on the third floor.
DC10 is a small bar, but quite cosy, even though it reminds you of the Cowboy Arab's fashion and design sense. The girls are friendly, some very friendly but without bothering you.
I am never bothered by being offered eight pairs of breasts to suck on. But after a little while, a whole group of customers swarmed in and broke up the party.
I was left with just three and a view across the bar of a beauty being made to cum twice before my drink ran out.
You win some. You lose some. Such is life.

Joe Wood, thanks for your report about Carousel and DC-10 bar.
Very sad news about Carousel on third floor of NEP.
I came for the first time to Nana Plaza just about 20 years ago.
Some of the bars of the Hollywood Group always have been my favorite bars at Nana.
In the 90ties I knew some of the guys, managers and the boss himself of the HG.
I had many sexy fantastic ladies from Carousel.
DC-10 and – left from DC-10 – the bar Sexy Nights were great too!! Admittedly they are small, but have a good atmosphere and vibrations.
They were managed by Thai ladies. Those bars had always some nice and sexy girls with good attitude. The prices for beverages were the lowest at Nana, and the girls wanted 1000 to 1500 Baht long time.
In Sexy Nights I always have been the king of cuddling and fondling; enjoying the girls.
Oh memories, sweet memories.

But more important is the fact that bars of the Hollywood Group have to be closed down.
Not enough customers and guests?
Not enough sales, turn-overs?
The world-wide bank- and money crisis, the global economy crisis with high unemployment around the world (not only in the western countries) seems to be leaving negative marks and disastrous effects, catastrophic fallouts on my beloved Nana Plaza.

What goes around, comes around.
So, by the standard of living dropping over the coming years in the U.S. and Europe in comparison to the rest of the world, eventually, Thais will be traveling there for their holidays and cheap sex.
