Oldtimer

Oldtimer was in town late last week and took the opportunity to look around. On Soi 33, the Office was very quiet and I mobbed by too many TGs who know me from previous visits there. In Dali Bar, I was just getting in the mood to pull a cute liitle TG when another one I had taken a couple of times previously latched on and wouldn't let go. Thus one had to beat a hasty retreat.
Another evening I had a drink in Electric Blue after some canard d'orange with a business colleague at Le Boucheron in Patpong. Didn't see anything too appealing in there.
Did a short survey in Soi Cowboy, and was very impressed with one of the the Rawhide shows but both performers said they were already booked for the evening. It seems healthy nudity is still the attraction here. Dollhouse was quiet as many of the TGs had apparently beat it home for Songkran.
Which finally brings me to the Rainbow bars in Nana. While I usually pull from Rainbow One, which in my book has quite a few stunners, one old flame that I have been trying to avoid lately is still stationed here. Thus I ventured upstairs to RB 4 for the first time.
The place was rocking with girls in all shapes and sizes, and quite a few attractive ones amongst them. Contary to some other reports, I found the ladies not pushy with their mix of Asian and farang customers. Also the mamasans were relaxed and friendly.
I was told that the bar houses an astonishing 300 TGs (can that be true?) and that many of them had stayed in town for Songkarn as the bar fines had been slightly raised. I think I paid 500 the first night and 600 the second. The mamasans suggested that the girls usually expect and get 2,000 short time and 4,000 all night.
Amyway, I ended pulling two lovely 24 year olds. Miss N, a former hairdresser, said that she had only been on the job a week and never bar fined yet alone slept with a farang. While one usually takes what they say with a grain of salt, I tended to believe her as she had absolutely no English. Her friend Miss K, who spoke a little English, had been two months in the bar and again said that she had never gone with a farang as the Japanese customers seemed to prefer her.
Anyway, Oldtimer had a ball for the next couple of nights with the ladies, one insiting on dragging me out to Samat Parkan during the day to meet her younger sister. The service was excellent with the ladies asking me (of all people), how they could learn to perform better for farang customers.
RB 4 certainly has my vote as a fine example of the go-go gendre, In fact, it reminded one a bit of the wild old days 30 years back when the industry was getting underway. I will head back there when next I return to town.

That figure might be true... but many of RB4 girls are not on the payroll and may come and go as they please and not present all the time. I guess the number of girls present each night is an average of 160...

Quack...i think the reason the indians are treated well in places like sirocco, paragon and oriental is they are normally the very wealthy ones.
racism certainly exists here but unlike europe or the US it never results in violence against anyone.

OK, some Further examples,,,, Thai's can directly own land in Australia,, Australians CANNOT dirtectly own land in Thailand.
Racism.
Thais married to an Australian, living in Australia,can easily get permanent citizenship with full rights,, those rights continue to exist even if divorced, Don't see that in Thailand.
Thailand has Japanese ONLY clubs ( racism),, illegal for that in Australia.
Thai companies and foreign companies are controlled under different rules in Thailand,, don't think that's the case here either.
Entry fees to National parks etc, have different rates depending if your Thai or NON Thai,, racism, thats not allowed here either.
I think you get my point.
Even within Thailand there is segregatism,,,
Speak to a Thai about the Chinese or more accurately Thai/Chinese,, they'll describe them as the Jews of Asia,, talk to a Bangkokian about Isaan Thai's and they'll call them the rice picking, Laos speaking scum of Thailand.
Either way, I still love my trips to Thailand.
