I assume some American guys like gymcgovern uses this site to make fun of a certain nationality and use derogatory terms against certain nationality. This is totally far off from the purpose of this site that is to exchange precious infos about sex and it's related matters.
Reading some of these postings of personal attack or making fun of a certain nationals on this members only sex info site is really shocking to me as being a person from Scandinavia.
I hope the moderators can kick these guys out and keep and maintain the original purpose of this website.

It cracks me up how some non Japanese people think they have the right to set pricing in the free market and get angry when someone Japanese or slightly higher spending than them comes along and is willing to pay more to get what they want......er what?!
It will be probably the most fun day of my life when I get to see that type of person's face as a not only take their beloved angel right from under their nose....but do it because I am so ridiculously handsome that I don't even pay anything.
Except for the 5,000 barfine and the 10,000 short time.

er... not quite according to some of the guys posting here. The Japanese guy has the girl.
They are sitting in the bar, spending their hard earned english teaching money, seething.
Or maybe I am just cynical While you may comment that the bush is the same, there is a saying a bush in the hand is worth two in someone else's hands (mine!).
Actually, the Japanese only places are not bad; quite enjoyable for a change; but then again I prefer the Resort style over gogo and a proper club over CM2. All horses for courses right?!
It is of course nothing to do with better or worse.... remember that before rich spending farang got here, it was easy enough for the locals to enjoy the fruits of the season at a reasonable price. The US came during the Vietnam war, and the rest, as they say, is history.
I bet if you don't like Japanese you really might not like me; I throw it around like there is no tomorrow.

actually if I was agogo owner I would impose different barfines for different quality of gal just like the massage parlors do.
my god the same girls get all the action.
if your in the bar in the last hour the same not so pretty ones are up on stage trying to get a customer. if they couldnt get one earlier I really dont see them getting one just before closing.

how many times hab I seen in rainbow 2 a girl go up to a white guy and get the guy to buy a drink. ok looks promising then 10 minutes later she walks away no deal. very obvious they were discussing price.

Wise words, but the only thing I can think of in this "don't put the prices up" is that some people won't be happy unless Thailand is destitute and therefore the sex is 50 baht.
Hence my desire to do a "distribute wealth to the poor so it can be used in inefficient ways" starting at Rainbow 4 tonight

I agree that the girls should be put into categories like in massage parlors such as A group or B group. Because the cute ones get all the attentions and get bar fined a few times a night. And the lower end ones still cost 2000ST the same that barely get bar fined at all.
I think the best system is a total price of girl for ST including bar fines, such as A superstar group 2500ST, B rank 2000, C class 1500ST, and bottom class like some chubby waitresses ect 1000-1200ST. I think this system will be fair for both the girls and the customers. And the lower rank girls have more chances to promote themselves by competitive pricing.
If the price is the same 2000ST for all, who will choose the lower ranks. Then these top ranks will be so busy and will be so spoiled and have no concern for service quality.
I hope all the gogos soon will change the pricing system according to the popularity and attractiveness of the girls. Also a total net price including bar fines will be the best system.

But dont the girls set the price for LT or ST
IF a real beauty asks for B2500 for a LT and gets it good for her.
If a not so pretty girl is willing to go for B1000 then thats up to her.
Surely its what they feel they can get and what the punter is prepared to pay, Im sure everyone will give a tip in the morning depending on performance.

the amount that goes to the girl is set by the girl but in agogo they generally want the same amount. if the superstar wants 2k and gets it then the caboose also wants 2000 (but doesnt get it).
the system is geared towards the hot chicks.
if you gonna pay 2k for a girl why take the ugly one over the pretty one.......... I dont know why...lol.
actually hank system would work....
the thing you hab to watch out for is making sure the stars dont lose money. if a guys not gonna pay 2k for a babe then he wont regardless if the girl is hot. wit hanks system the guy has at least a chance to spend his money in wot he tinks is a more appropriate way.
the star s dont lose didnt lose a customer. the bar gains a barfine. and the lesser girls make some money. everbody wins.

I think the key thing is that there is a lack of transparency in the market, which leads to inefficiency. The reason for it, is that there is a lack of market knowledge which some of the suppliers exploit to receive above market rates for the product from uninformed/non-rational buyers.
In addition, the product is somewhat taste dependant, and thus there is not a definitive "top model" or "bottom model" or "complete slapper model". At least the quality of some of the ladies around NEP who are not walking alone indeed bears out the statement "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." and also "love is blind" and also "the bland leading the blind".
Finally, for the seller, the service is somewhat dependant on the attractiveness and nature of request of the buyer; after all as a hansum man myself, I immediately receive large discounts and even complimentary services, which I reciprocate with inordinately large tips and taxi money. Other shoppers may not be so generous, and may also damage the merchandise.
By introducing a spot market, with women broken into categories, or even listed singly, the transparency would enable price setting to be create a better loading factor overall, implementing a constant usage factor across the board (e.g. aim for 2 bar fines per seller per night).
However, there is little incentive for the market participants to do this as it would probably mean:
- higher prices for the nice ones (which is exactly the sort of thing that the cheapskates don't want)
- cheaper prices for the fuglies (and we can already get cheaper prices. Grace and Thermae come to mind)
- inability of market sellers to trade off the price per unit vs. number of units sold (some girls prefer 20 short-times, others prefer less)
That said, I think there is room for the creative investor in a bar, to perhaps develop such a system, and implement using real time quotations and online bidding via an extensive mobile phone network linking in bidders and sellers. It would also be good in removing the need for conversation.
Similarly, all buyers could be grouped by category; i.e. we could lump all the cheapskates in one area, all the high spenders in another....and we could serve say complimentary cavier and champagne in one area, and perhaps moonshine and huhu grubs in the other.
When we look at the market overall, these aspects occur on an overall basis with zoning, semi transparent pricing and market segmentation. Let's see a creative bar owner or perhaps someone like Halliburton put some money into one bar in NEP and try to create this in a single bar.
And also put in some pinball machines.
