True dat my friend! For some reason, I always seem to strike gold at Playschool, Mandarin, Suzy Wongs, and Shebas. On the flip-side, I have never had a success story at Spanky's, Midnight, and Dollhouse for whatever reason. Won't stop me from trying though!

Years ago I would be in the go-go's just about every night; sometimes I could hardly crawl to the toilet the next morning and I would swear; "not tonight". But after a days rest I would go out again just to look and have a drink; but that also resulted in another BF and another girl to test drive. Can't remember exactly when I started to get tired of it, but it had a lot to do with the attitude of the staff. Some were great but others could really be a pain.
As others have noted; it really is a crap shoot and the great thing is they grow like weeds here...the best experiences seem to happen when I least expect it.

Know what you mean, after a week of hitting the go-gos, just the thought of going to another one, meeting a new girl and having the same mundane conversations literally makes my skin crawl. Thank goodness there are all sorts of options to fall back on such as oily, soapie, FL, Soi 33, etc. and when all that doesn't look appretizing, there is always the black book.

The "black book" really is the way to go. Tried and true. A phone call and they are there. The price is understood. It's relaxed and easy. That's the advantage, and also the disadvantage. Been there, done that.
The go go's, even the Rainbows (to make a feeble nod towards the theme of this thread), offer new cars to test drive, to use david 85260's amusing turn of phrase, and god knows I love to test drive new cars. That, of course, is what stands between me and a healthy, monogamous relationship.
As for burning out on go go's, well, that goes without saying. Too much of the same night after night... even if the girls are different, the scene and dynamic (not to mention the music) is invariably the same old same old. But as TD suggests, thank goodness there are so many other options. And my sense is that when you are really burned out, that's when you return to the black book, the gik, the GF, the wife.

Well gosh darn, call me a scoundrel then! Valetta, YOU cannot be serious. Are you honestly telling me that having your cake and eating it too doesn't appeal to you too? (John, on the other hand, is through and through a family man, and ONLY a family man. Boring.)
The comfort of of a GF/Gik/Wife at the end of a long week, AND being able to f*** around all you want? What could be sweeter than that to a sex addict? And don't tell me that this isn't the modus operandi of a good share of the members here.... Personally, I find it very hard to hang onto the that category while I am screwing around, but that doesn't take away from my coveting it.

However,I am being serious when I say that your view that what could be better for a man than to have a loving wife,while at the same time being able to f*** as many other women as he wished,raises some difficult questions.
Surely fairness dictates that the same opportunity for bliss should be given to the wife,but perhaps with the caveat that she takes precautions to ensure the husband does not have to support another man`s child.
However,I suspect there are few relationships which would survive such reciprocal liberties.That this is the case is established by the considerable efforts couples make to conceal their infidelities from each other.
The loving wife would also understandably cease to be loving if she was told that her husband regarded it as his natural right to f*** as many other women as he pleased.Indeed if she agreed it would have to be asked whether she cared at all for her husband.
It is surely overwhelmingly the case that,when one partner is serially unfaithful, their relationship has broken down, at the very least to the extent that the unfaithful partner accepts the readily foreseeable consequence of the ending of their relationship should his infidelity be discovered.
If the relationship has produced children the serial philanderer must also be careless of the effect that a breakup of the relationship will have on them, and the likely loss of their love and respect for him.
Most people have no doubt about how they regard the serial philanderer.If a man he is "a selfish bastard".If a woman "a selfish bitch".
To play the field when single or divorced is one thing,but to do so after having committed to a marriage is quite another.If a married man wants to resume playing the field he should preferably be honest and say so.But to conceal his infidelities,and to continue to enjoy the favour of a loving wife with the conviction that this is no more than his entitlement,I find revolting.
I can understand,and am not critical,if a man is unfaithful when the wife is no longer loving,but it surely offends all reasonable sense of fairness,and respect for the feelings of a person who genuinely loves you,to behave in this way.
Quim,perhaps it was no more than an unconsidered comment.I am all for pleasure,but I would lose respect for myself if I consciously sacrificed the well being of a person who loved me just for my own pleasure.
