I have lived in Japan for some eight years and it's pretty easy to understand the attitudes towards Japanese in Thailand. Japanese males are used to paying a very high price just to socialize in "Hostess" bars. Even the Phillipina hostess bars are costly for just drinking. Also, Japanese-exclusive bars in BKK are due to the fact that the Japanese get very uncomfortable around westerners especially big, loud, drunken ones. They also willingly pay whatever the bill they are presented with says- they are used to bars without price menus. This has all been said before I imagine but I'd thought I'd throw it out there.
And I don't mean to be racist but it may be due to the smaller size of Japanese men- in all respects. I mean, I've heard the same from TG regarding fat farangs. Fat man=Small penis.

Rainbow 3 Bar service staff sucks.
One of the worst times I have ever had in a Nana bar. Staff wench had her elbow on my table for the 1/2 hour I was there and constanly interrupted my conversations with friend I was with. When I pointed to a girl in conversation with friend again, staff interupted and wanted to know what number you want? Constantly haranged for another drink, what girl you want etc.. Smoke from chain smoking farang next table was the worst. All and all a terrible bar. Good lookers but ambiance sucked. Will vote with my feet and never go in Rainbow 3 again.
