Check out Jina 33. New bar opposite The Office. Maggie is the mamasan, very friendly, known her for a year or so. She used to run Santana and then You & Me Bar.
I was on a promise so only stopped by for one drink to have a look at the interior and the goods on display. Some nice girls in here. Private rooms upstairs. Maggie says they are all good to go and satisfaction is guaranteed. I believe her.
Bar fine is only THB700. Could this be the start of a new trend on Soi 33?

This will be a stop on the next visit. I've soiled almost everyplace else on this Soi, I need new hunting ground.
At 1500 baht, you take actions to avoid it, but 700 baht? A refreshing change. Judging by "the barfine book" I perused for a good 20 minutes for a certain Soi33 bar, an 800 baht reduction in barfine amount might increase the total revenue from barfines.

After I met you, DrLove and a few others for a drink on my birthday I ended up in Renoir where I've been hanging out recently. (Mainly 'cos I've still got a clean sheet in this place.)
Whada ya know? They'd bought me a cake, the lights went down and everyone sang happy birthday to me. I was so moved I ended up buying lots of drinks for people I did not know. I got so drunk myself, I foolishly barfined a cute bartender that I knew fully well did not go with customers. I've got no explanation for this other than it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Everything went bad after that. I'm too embarrassed to say much more about it except that I spent a lot of money that night and ended up sleeping alone.
When the sun rose in the morning a new day began. And that's what I like about Bangkok because everything gets reset to zero again. The next night I went to another bar in my new 'Super Lucky 7' T-shirt and rolled a double six.
TallNonthaburiBabe stayed with me for my last 3 nights and now I'm hopelessly in love with her.

Well don't blame him.... he's been here for a while and thinks as a Thai while giving directions or maybe he stayed too long in Oz' company who thinks the fish and chips shop is in Soi 33... 555
The bars are in the 'real' Soi 33. Soi 33/1 is the soi behind 'villa supermarket'. 'Robin Hood' is located on the corner of Soi 33/1 and the 'Bull's Head' is in the soi.
If you can't find Soi 33... you better stay home and play with your model trains.

As I remember, the real soi33 is the wrong soi. The one with all the artists bar is between soi31 and 33. It took me a while to find it the first time I went out there.
