There are bad things about LOS, but I quickly dismiss most of them as unimportant in the long run. People are what they are.
Every morning that I wake up during a trip there, I feel a whole new sense of adventure. Can you imagine waking up in the US, wondering who you might be sleeping with later that day?
For me, the easier question to answer would be "what I won't miss about America while in Thailand".
I love America, but Thailand is much more fun!

I go to 7/11. I am polite with the staff and they with me. I pay, they supply. It's a good arrangement. Unfortunately some persons don't seem to be able to comprehend the clarity of the situation you gentlemen are discussing, and behave aggressively towards the counter girls, try to gyp them, etc. Next time I go to 7/11 it ain't so friendly no more. Is this chivalry on my part?
