at the RB bars, the girls can come right off the stage to have a drink, not wait until the shift change, so calling over the one you like is always the way to go there.
i know the girl isnt interested when she asks which girls I think are pretty as we talk.

yes, of course, I have told them they are the one I like the best (which should be obvious, as I called her over and not another girl). usually they demur, and suggest other girls are better choices.
I have BFed some (others have given some excuse to not go) in spite of this and not found it to be the best experience later on in the loom.
In my experience, the girls who ask which other girls I find pretty are indicating they arent really interested in going with me.

QQ - I didn't say that it was not possible to make eye contact with the girls in those places. It happens. I've done it.
What I was trying to say is that you shouldn't necessarily write them off because they don't. Not sure what it is about the atmosphere of those places that makes the girls appear zombie-like on stage. But many do.
Nonetheless I've had some darn decent experiences even with the ones that I can't manage to get eye contact with when they're on stage. At least the Super**** bars, the level of service is usually pretty high. I think that is also part of the bar's indoctrination to the girls. They don't want unhappy customers.
There is no doubt though that when you are able to achieve the eye contact and then subsequently get them to your side, you can use your normal instincts to cash in. Beware the warning signs in any event.

plus in the Supers, being somewhat nippon oriented in clientele, the less overt the girls act, the better they seem to like it.
many times I have seen a customer sit down, and the Mama is over to him in a flash, a minute later a girl is standing in front of the guy (she asks which girl you like, he says #23, and she is called over), and the BF paid shortly thereafter.
the interviewing we find important doesnt seem to go on much. In fact, a mama I know at a bar the Japanese guys love told me one thing the girls like about these guys is the lack of "what your name, where you stay" etc.. due to both of them not speaking much english....

I think the best Mamasans manage to combine kindness and consideration towards their girls with a proper appreciation of the bottom line.
A happy girl is likely to work harder,take less time off,and stay at the bar,rather than trying her luck somewhere else.

I posted on activity in the supers I experienced and how it fits in with the behavior of the girls there.
just to be clear, and i'm typing slowly so you can understand better...
the girls (in the supers, remember??) dont need to be projecting who they like, as the customer base (japanese guys, to be clear) doesnt really pay attention to that (and may prefer them to be passive in their on stage behavior--but that is just a hypothesis on my part) in their selection process, as evidenced by my personal observations.
