for a 2 week stay right next to bts is highly recommended. drop your new and settle for old and you hab many hotels to choose from.

Newish??? As in not showing much wear and tear???
Rooms are a bit small but in a very good condition at the Street One Lodge in Soi 1. No breakfast tho, but price is 600 baht. With TV, AC, bath, fridge. About 10 minutes walk from Nana Plaza.

I would never give you a hotel if it was NOT girlfriendly. I hate sleeping alone. I even took 3 girls up to the room without even a remark from the receptiondesk. But as I mentioned the rooms are not that big. And 4 was definitly a crowd. Your limit should be 2 girls at the same time, if you don't want to sleep on the floor. If your name is BigDUSA then you better stick to 1 girl 
(it is also cheaper.)
For Bangkok Suites read other threads, I have never been there. And what is the ABF???????

I used to stay in Street 1 Lodge when it just opened around 15 years ago.
