Will take Landmark. Much better in all aspects, also heard (can anyone confirm) they are renovating all their rooms/public areas. But if you must, will stay with Conrad (bigger room, newer, nicer - although I have heard the Marriott - assuming you mean the JW - is going to be renovated this year as well - about time, it looked like a 3 star room last visit I was there). Club at Conard is boring, take the one at Landmark - although there are many old timers TGs there, its OK for a quick drink and to relex. Nana is 5 minutes walk from there anyway. BTS in front of the hotel, and one of the best burgers you can find in BKK....

Oldtimer usually is stabled at the JW. Sure the rooms are a little smaller and have less sexy bathrooms than the Conrad but the location is more convenient.
Plus the JW executive floor club is great...Oldtimer particularly likes the fine Chardonney they offer in the early evening along with lots of little eats. The staff are in addition very polite to Oldtimer's petite amis.
By the way, the JW room revovation program has been going on for the last 18 months....floor by floor.

Agree with China Sailor. Can't beat JW Marriott's location. Also, staff are much more friendly than at Conrad

Thinking about "upgrading" to the JW Marriott from Nana in October. ThaidUp said JW is VERY girl-friendly and rooms MUCH nicer than Nana (of course) but also more expensive. Like how much more expensive??? I mean I know what their website says but...what kind of rooms are we talking about????? Anyone who has stayed here I would appreciate your input...the more detail the better. PENBELLY

The Marriot is a great hotel and after your years in Nana Hotel let's just say the rooms will blow you away. Quite often in low season they will give you an upgrade to a better suite if you ask nicely. I think the rack rate is about 8,000 baht per night but you should have no problem getting this down to 6,500 if your staying more than a couple of nights (availabilty allowing).
I think the Conrad is actually a much better Hotel but is not so central for the nightlife and a little pricier.
As for the joiner policy these days it's not really an issue in most hotels but I guess they can always 'reserve the right'

PP, Another poster told me he took six girls into the Marriott one night. He seemed sincere and said the Marriott is actually BETTER than the Nana for bringing girls to your room. Come on,I find that hard to believe!!! Being a more "high-so" hotel and such, I need more info before I take that jump.
Any other posters experiences would be appreciated.
