Thought I would take a minute and give a short report on a hotel. I am staying at the Admiral Suites Service Apts now, and was at the recommendation of two members and it is not disappointing. It is a botique style apt/room about 5 stories, maybe 50 units, on Soi 22. Although at B1,900 a night (B10,000 for 7 days), it is a little more than I wanted to spend for high season, but not too bad for what they offer.
Very friendly/helpful staff and girl friendly hotel
Good restaurant on bottom floor
Kitchen has all cooking utensils, sink, microwave, full refrig, hot water for coffee, no burner or stove
Sat TV, DVD player, AM/FM/cassette stereo
in room safe
Most important to me is that they provide complimentry membership in Capital Club. Nice club with very nice fitness machines

I stayed there in July 03 and liked the place. However I thought the Coffee House was limited and the breakfast there was poor.

I stayed there about a year ago and was disappointed in the place. Room was smaller than I had imagined, pool area was not very clean and the breakfast was mediocre. Maybe I was influenced by the fact that they had twice screwed up my reservation.

Yes, had breakfast at the coffee house this morning and although the quality is good, the portions are more for asian stomach. B119 for American Breakfast was good, but as mentioned small. Haven't had lunch or dinner there.

My reservations went well. Reservtions responed with quotation for room and then made reservtions immediately when requested. And 5 days before departing USA, received confirmation they were holding room as requested.
I have been using the pool at least once a day, and it is very clean. They must have made changes since you were there. It is small but clean, and what I like is that not many people use it, so lots of privacy.

They do have DSL speed internet available. Same speed as the free (for customers) computer in the Cafe, which means it varies quite a bit depending on time of day.
Check with them for pricing details.

Yes, there is high speed internet available in the rooms according to front desk. Hope it is alot faster than the one in the coffee shop that is free because I've tried the that one 3 times, morning and evening and it is very very slow. Much slower than any of the internet shops.
