I used to wear a suit for business meetings too. Especially, when there's millions involved. And the best part was wearing a suit and walking into Star of Light for a session.

Hey I laugh at myself why I wore suits in those days. When I will build up the courage, I will tell you the real screw ball things I did, in the name of doing business. One thing though: You have to admit that Thailand and BKK in particular, are not like any other places in the world. I watch guys as they are going through immigration. They are jumping out of their skins (because they have to get to Nana/Soi/Pat...etc. by...)
Be honest! Is this not true? It seems that all logic goes out the window, upon the first breath of that THAI AIR (please excuse the pun). I am just as guilty as the next guy - maybe even more so - but at least I admit to myself (for whatever thats worth).

Try Majestic Grande. I don't think you will be disappointed. Totally GF. Nice rooms. The ABF is good in my opinion. The delux room has nice king sized bed.

The closest girl friendly hotel to the Nana BTS station is the Landmark. A less expensive choice but a bit further away from the Nana BTS station (but closer to Nana Plaza) is Majestic Suite. Majestic Grande (younger and bigger sister of Majestic Suite) is also very girl friendly but it is closer to the Phloen Chit BTS station. I have stayed at all three before and I have never had any problems. However, remember the key is to book a double.

There's another girl friendly hotel near Nana BTS. It's Gulliver's Tavern. They have just opened their brand new boutique hotel. Prices range from 2,500-3,100 B. I am sure Tim can get you a good deal in the near future. Here is their website: http://www.gulliverhotel.com

The Gulliver has giant prices for midget rooms. 2500B for a "studio" or 2800B for a "premier" room, that can be as small as 19 Sq m and comes with only a "standing shower" ? Please... they need a reality check, much better values out there... the only "boutique" aspect here is the "cozy" tiny size rooms with a queen size bed (well no room for the king...).
Wont even consider this place... but maybe Tim can get a bit of reallity into the owner's mind...

Agreed. They rooms are nice but the prices on their site are optimistic to say the least. Oh well, need to talk to the hotel and convince them to reduce by at least 1000 Baht on each room type.

The 19sqm room at nearly 3000 Baht is unsellable. You could get a luxury room for that 3-4 times the size with full facilities.
