I walked into Landmark, looked around, checked out some of the restaurants; and realized that everything was way over priced. If I walked into Landmark at the beginning of my trip, I would have thought otherwise, but since it was near the end of my stay, I had gotten a sense of how things are priced in BKK. You can do much better and get more for your baht if you are into putting in an effort.

gotta agree with B2BKK... the Landmark is a 5 ***** hotel, so its normal that u'll find prices a bit steep there!!
i guess it all depends on the individual, some prefers comfort and some not! but gotta admit its location is indeed "wonderful"!!

I'm really looking forward to my stay at this hotel. I've only heard good things about the location and the hotel. The main reason for choosing the Landmark was an incredible deal through my company. $29 per night was just too good to pass up!

Since you are getting such a great deal at the Landmark, you might want to make sure that the price you are paying is for a double. Otherwise, you could get charged extra for bringing a guest back.

I booked it as a double so I would not have that problem. The description posted on my company site has hotels from all around the world for incredible prices and the paperwork I filled out was for a double. They only have limited days at each hotel and the limit is 7 consecutive days at any hotel. As soon as Bangkok was available I jumped all over the deal.

$29 a night? Damn. That is dirt cheap. Landmark is a great hotel. Has everything you could ask for in your stay in Bangkok.
zzzZ, your credit card was counterfeited there? I had mine counterfeited once from Hard Rock Cafe in Bangkok. Never had any problem with Landmark.
