Admiral Suites is GF - no problem. Have stayed there in November for the last three years. Pool is okay too - small, but clean.

Ah the swimming pool on the roof that brings back good memories. I had 3 seperate TG's naked in there last year late at night, the secruity guard just waved at me. Great little jacuzzi effect as well.
I heard a rummor that the admiral was changing to a min stay of 30 days

Stayed in one of the smaller suites for 5 nights a couple of weeks ago. Everything worked and was clean.
The American breakfast that can be included in some rates through the discount sites was a dissappointment. It is served in the attached cafe. Very small and basic. If you want a second cup of coffee it is an extra 50 baht.
I registered my TGF but I saw a couple of residents bringing BGs back without being hassled.

Good and clean hotel but the walk to Suk is too long and the walk to the Skytrain is way too long

Hi Gents,
Arriving 9/8 staying 11 nights & have had my accommodation pulled out from under me. Can anyone update on quality & girl friendliness of Admiral Suites?
Also considering Somerset Lake Point; Asia Paradise.
Basically looking for Sukhumvit 1600-2200 baht, pool, gym maybe & ofcourse GF.
Prefer apartments, serviced or otherwise, but not easy at short notice.
Your assistance will be much appreciated.

At that price, u can get a place at the President Park - soi.24, excellent place, jus that its a very long walk, but I always take the motorbike taxi for 20 bts! 
the hotel does have an hourly shuttle to emporium.
Also good is the Citadines on soi.16 around that price, and read great reviews of it.

Becasue the Admiral Suites is an "serviced apartment," and not a hotel, they do not charge by the person.
