Yeah - I can understand that they *think* they can charge that much because they will claim to be 'so close to Sukhumwit', and will try to ride coattails on their association with Gulliver's, but 2,500 to 3,000 is simply ridiculous for a room essentially half the size of most hotels -- I mean, 20 sq/m *must* be tiny, and for a little bit over 2,000 Baht, I get 43 sq/m with balcony at Centre Point.
Plus, what it seems like, their prices are 'introductory rates', so expect them to go higher after their 'introductory period'.
Of course, we'll all be able to tell when business is down and they are doing badly -- in typical Thai fashion, they will raise their prices

Can anyone confirm if Centrepoint (Wireless Rd) is still guest friendly, good value. Seems a little way from Nana but near the BTS atleast - 5 minute walk?

Girl friendly hotels near Nana from personal experience.
Landmark - yes, quite expensive - if I am with the girl they ask for her id. When she leaves and arrives at the security desk, the person on duty calls me to confirm everything is ok. I say yes, and her id is returned.
If I call for a lady, the security guard calls to the room to advise I have a guest . The same security process is followed as outlined above.

I also have never been denied or even received a nasty look when bringing a "guest" to my room. This includes while staying at 5 start locations including Shangri La, Dusit Thani and others............

Thanks! Been googling all day trying to find out if it was or not.
Anyway I was going book it because of the Buy 2 nights get 1 night free but when I went to book the promotion was gone and the rate suddenly changed from 2000bt to 1350bt a night which I instantly booked and it costs lesser than if I had gone with the initial promotion.
Then a day later I went back to check and they reverted back to their original promotion. LOL
Guess they got wise and figured out it was TOO CHEAP

i booked with sawadee and it was confirmed paid for and a hotel voucher was sent to my e-mail.
Nah I calculated and i'm actually saving some bt..
I intended 4 nights which with the original promotion would cost me 6000bt
Then the night I booked they had that new offer I was previously mentioning
So the total for 4 nights was only 5400bt in the end
I'm guessing they realized this rate would not be profitable and switched back to the buy 3 pay 2 nights promotion.

Would anyone know if the Wall Street Inn in Silom is girl friendly? This was booked through an agency and they booked for only 1 person. The last few minutes were spent frantically to amend the status to 2 people. Not sure how long thats gonna take.
