JW Marriot and Westine are great hotels at $60, since their regular rate is over $100. Never worked out at any of their gyms though.
Have met a couple singapore airlines and Thai airlines stewardess at Fitness First though!! ha ha ha!!

maybe 3 star hotels and gyms don't mix.
JW's gym is top notch, and if you can get the gaffe for usd 60.00 you should definitely go for it.
hotel and location are top notch, too. super guest friendly.

As far as Bangkok goes I have and will be again staying at the Admiral suites.
Got my room for about $34 a night in furnished apt but really is just small hotel.
Not far walk to main drag.
on roof there is gym that has a universal, full set of dumbells, stairmaster, and a few other things including TV and music. Nobody uses it so all is in great condition.
Also pool on roof that nobody uses and a sauna.
I am going back and staying there again in 3 weeks as I really liked the place.
girl friendly
hot plate to cook, all the cooking and eating items, refrigerator, micro
Maid even does the dishes!
