Stayed here mid Augaust. On checkin ( a double) the porter on the way up the lift stated that breakfast was for two. No problems with being girl friendly. Probably too much as no check when the girls come and go.
Could do with a refurbishment as getting dated with it's dark colours (picky I know) but as mentioned earlier staff are great, very clean, and great position. Never heard the construction but could see it. Tried st stay there on my return but booked out. Stayed at the City Lodge 19. More expensive, no breakfast included, smaller room and large step up into bathroom which nearly broke my toes. Stay at Swiss Park again? You bet.

Far enough to reduce the noise and have a good travel place, massage that comes to your room, 7/11 on soi 11 and a 30 second walk to Suk. Hotel on Soi 11/1.

I take it you do not plan to stay there. Good, this sure will reduce the noise level at night.... 
Sounds good to me, I will have to take a look at this and perhaps add it to my value list (I do stay at the Landmark but if it is really cheap and good enough, will consider in case the Landmark raises the prices too much.... Guess it competes with the Manhattan, but if I remember correctly, it has nice marble floors (better and cleaner than carpet) in the rooms.
Even Stu stays there. Its a little known secret I guess. I never visited inside but I know its no more than a minute (literally) to Sukhumvit. Very good place etc. OK will take a look next time I'm there and report. They may have different rooms types having better conditions, but sounds like this is at least clean.
By the way, on asiarooms.com the info on Swiss Park shows the airport bus (70 bhat but could be from old airport) stops 60 meters from the hotel on Suk.. so this gives you an idea about the distance in meters. Also it shows safe listed as room's facility - don't know if its true. It has pool so that is good. Gym don't know. But hey, for less than 1200 bhat double incl. breakfast and taxes what do you expect...?

But Can somebody tell me if they also LB friendly 
And do they do an ID check or keep the ID at the check-in.

Never tried to bring a LB. Would think it is no problem with the hotel.
If the person (guest) comes together with you (enters the hotel that is) there should be no leaving the ID at the reception. If he or she joins you in the room, he/she will have to give them the card.
