Hi guys,
I.m looking for a real Girl Friendly hotel near NANA BTS.
I mean no need to pay to bring a girl in your room.
I think JW Marriot is ok (but too expensive for me).
last time I have tryed AMARY boulvd, but you need to pay.....
Can you help me ?

I have to add something here. Years back (before I had any idea of what BKK was, and how it operated - my company sent me to the Oriental Hotel. My first day I found what at the time I thought was the most beautiful woman in the world. I brought her back to the Oriental; and got the dirtiest looks from their staff. I felt so uncomfortable in that place. What is strange, is there are literally scores of 4 & 5 STAR hotels that are 'girl friendly'. Just never felt comfortable there in any vain. Besides, I now pay for my own hotel, so you can be sure that I am more price conscious now.

Well mate they did let you take her to your room didn't they...? The look and feeling was amplified because it has been your first time.... you could have smiled and joke about it (but of course the first time you were nervous etc. so its good to do now that you know the deal about BKK...).
Why don't you try revist that hotel for a night again, and see how your self confidence has been improving over the years? Do the above, get the most pretty girl (by now probably your taste has been improved... I hope...  and get her to your room... I assume that look you have received years ago, was not because the Thai lady with you was ugly... Then now you can look back at them and say sawadee krub... sabai dee mai krub? And ask them what do they think of your new Thai GF...

You are right on the mark. I was so nervous the first time. In actuality they probably stared because (like a shmuck) I was wearing a suit in thailand. I didn't know better. It was 100 degrees +, and I'm wearing a suit. The girl on the other hand was wearing shorts that covered nothing. I think you get the picture. It looked like a real mismatch. In addition, if I remember correctly she was quite short. They probably thought I was a Ped... God forbid. (She was in her mid 20's). Today 15 years later, these things dont bother me anymore. So I guess you are right1 It was not the Hotel; It was ME.

I still have NEVER found a girl UNFRIENDLY hotel in Thailand.
SHESH,, you've paid for your room,,, I always pay for a double,,,, what the F.... has it got to do with them who is your G/F. ( aquaintance,, whatever?). As long as you have paid,, and you are not disturbing other guests,, it's your personal business.
ANYWAY,, I can list some 20 hotels in Sukumvit that have never given me any trouble,, little more than a smile as I walked past the security or reception.
Enjoy,, it's your holiday,, your room, your life.

Did you ever notice that every Thai business hotel charges, and has the room "setup' as though TWO people will be staying there. In the "Business Hotel" I stay at; 95% of the rooms are occupied by one businessman; but, Every room has two sets of slippers and robes; the second set always much smaller.
Also DaffyDuck: you ask why I wore a suit. That was the problem 15 years ago. I thought that BKK was like every other city, I did business in. Boy was I mistaken>>>
You will never see me anymore in a suit in Thailand. Even in cooler season.
