Any Guest friendly hotels around Sukumvit that feature large walk in Showers rather than the bathtub/Shower combination.
(I like Swiss grottino for this but not sure about visitors being let upstairs, I seem to recall the last time I stayed at SG there was no house phone in the room).

Swiss Grottino was going to be my first suggestion. As far as visitors going upstairs I know we had as many as 7 in a room at one time. I have never stayed anywhere more tollerant or guest friendly or for that matter customer friendly.

Both Dream Hotel and S15 (coincidentally, both on Soi 15) have large walk-in showers. And both are girl friendly.
The rooms at S15 have a bathtub and separate walk-in shower. Both are enclosed in a glass "cube."

grottino has house phone and allows girls, and have nice shower cubicles, easy for two. so does town lodge at the end of soi 18 and many many other hotels.
