Want to book a room here come Jan/Feb.......The Double Superior is US $ 30/nite and the Deluxe only another
$ 7.......very little difference in $$ for me.......Can anyone tell me the differences between the 2 ?????????? Should I upgrade to the Deluxe ????? Thanx

I stayed at Majestic hotel first week of Dec, booked a deluxe superior room 1500bht a night. When showed the room I said this is not what I asked for. Was in formed do not have deluxe superior, only double superior. hotel overall is nice, guest friendly, and the staff will do whatever they can to help you.But it is a small hotel! would I stay there again. yes I would!

I'll be trying in out come March. The difference between the Double Superior and the Deluxe is that Deluxe is bigger size room and it has a coffee table with complimentary tea and coffee. But for whatever reason, my understanding is that the Double Superior have a bigger bathroom/tub than Deluxe.
Most people prefer Double Superior and think that is a better deal. Everyone do think that the rooms in Majestic in general are on the small side.

I'm thinking of staying at the majestic and wondering about the difference between the double superior and single superior. I get the impression that the double has a king bed and single a queen (which might be worth the diference. Also get the impression that in a single you get two breakfast vouchers and in the ssingle only one. Anyway these are my oimpressions butwouyld like to hear from people who stayed there. Also do you know if they have a lobby safe in addition to the in-room safe?

One more BIG question. I was reading a review that says the in-room safe is opened with the same key that opens the room. I'm a heavysleeper; if a bargirl had my room key could she open the safe?

have safe in managers office
safekey is different form housekey. actually you can also program with a 4 digit number.

so then i can leave the safe key in the safe and about 10K baht in the room safe and the rest in the lobby safe? thing i'll stay at majestic then. so if the beds are the same, is theer any reason why I'd want to be in a double superior instaed of a single superior? thanks.

Looks like I can't stay at the Majestic. Manager says there is not 24 hour access to his personal safe which means on my last night I'd have to leave my passport and money in the room safe. Figure final night I'll go with a long time and I don't want a bargirl to open the room safe with my key and split. Too bad, sounded better than Dynasty and the others. If anyone knows of an email address for the Grand Inn on Soi 3, please let me know.

I am not a partner in majestic. but your roomsafe is pretty "safe". it is the code you choose that enables you to open it.
and I mean if there is a robbery, they would also trash the housesafe.
the difference in the rooms is just size. at the single room you have hardly any space around your bed, I mean it is really small. the other rooms vary in size.
btw. I recently had a 2 nighter in the nana hotel and had one of the 3 bed rooms baht 1'200.00 rather new,
more tv channels, huge bed, huge room. I was impressed.
but in two years the guys from majestic will open majestic grande on sukhumvit soi 2. really beautiful, spacy rooms for 50 us, 8 theme suites decorated according to the 8 wonders of the world with outside jacuzzi for 100 us, majestis suite for 500 us. but more when they are close to opening.
I saw the project, the roomdesigns and the material specs they are going to use. the project has started foundation already.

Ring The Bells-When did you stay at the Majestic? Reason I ask is that I've been correponding with the amnager, maybe his english is not good, I dunno, but he's telling the card key for the room opens the safe. Now if thisa is true bargirl can open my safe when sleeping. Hpwever if what you say is true, Majestic is wheer I want to stay.
