Well, went to Spasso again last night to meet a friend who somewhere along his business trips over here decided his leisure in BKK would resolve between The Oriental and Spasso.
What to do?? I urged him to move over to Forte but to no avail as he was enjoying the outrageous sight of the black singer (noticed once again Lao and African sort of share a similar "heavy" legacy of financial savvy and facial features - yet evey zoo has its supporters so there's hope for you girls...)
Anyway Spasso's setting is very nice and if you don't care about the drinks' cost they're not particulary bad. Girls were old though... way over the top... deeply distressed to mingle with birds my age or older, I tried to pull the friend over to CM2 in last resort while my bird was checking bemused at her former generation trying to hook up a wealthy farang. Same technic but more fattie tissue...
Spasso is almost a classy club but after a while two fat female backpackers started to do elephant moves on the dance floor barefoot. They were dressed in rags and left their slippers by the stage. A self respecting pub wouldn't let them in, let alone a high end night club. Mate moved back to oriental and we had a look in CM2, AmoresPerros kindda looking for the missing female part of a threesome.
Didn't find after 10mns and although CM was looking rather OK we went home to check the bathtub and some other pleasant parts of the appartment. Than gobbled a suspicious mix of Xanax and Lexomil and 12 hours later woke up confused... opened worried an eye lid after the other but had the pleasure to notice no girl's pieces were laying sawed off on the bed and the jet lag seemed gone.

Kinda sucks... I can imagine a worse place though and the whole lower floor in Hyatt is very nice. Besides a funny story well placed on the very long list of extremely stupid things I've done started there a few years back. Picked up a gorgeous slim 19y o girl in Spasso and brought her back to my appartment for what at that time would have turned out a freebie. Was staying in a modest 70sqm around Soi Rangnam and the bird came in, looked around, and said it was really nothing special. Rather than ripping off her clothes and doing her brutally on the living room's table, as any civilised guy would do, I looked at her angrily and just kicked her out of my place... go figure... met her a couple of years later in Q bar and she was still looking great... would pay a couple thousand to do her now... talk about a dumbass...
Anyway I'll take anytime a night out with U in Forte over a few drinks in Spasso so hope u're gonna show up soon enough!

Does anyone has any recent visit to Spasso that can share with us. I went there on a business trip about a year ago and still remember it was an expensive place, both drinks and girls. But a nice setting though. Heading back soon and therefore appreciate some latest intel.

Same curiosity got the best of me about 6 weeks ago. I came away wondering if I've been living here too long: all the women in the place were mutts. And I do mean mutts.
To make matters worse, I walked in with an empty stomach. That turned into 2000 Bt dissapointmnt. Granted the food was a cut above okay, even if the portions were small, but what really ticked me off was the 200 Bt Entertainment Tax they assessed. Apparently, if you dine after 9:30 or 10:00 you're paying for the ambiance.  Thanks, but no thanks...

Spasso change? You have to be kidding. That place is not going to change a bit since there are never a shortage of stupid punters who go there, and don't know anything better.
The Patrons, the girls, and the band are all weak. If you are reading this forum, you should be getting better ideas of where to go
