the place is packed on the weekends with thais and foreigners partying till 5am...
only problem, though small.. other than the not so great aircon..
is that you must either buy a bottle with your group to enter or you have to already have a bottle or person inside... the latter is easy... just have someone come before 2am (trust me the tables are almost all full by this time) and then have that person come to the front and bring you inside...
the reason for the late time.. very high ranking fellows in the police are owners...
always a good time... not sure on weekdays though...
Ok since you made public to masses, one of the good places to go. I will expand on Blur.
It is not open until after 3am lately (When the decent music stops). They got paid a visit by the BIB a couple saturdays ago.
Don't even bother showing up at two or after two on a weekend. It is not worth going on the weekend since there is no room to move.
During the week is great if you get there around 1230-0100 and secure a table.
Not many Farang, as this is primarily an after RCA kinda place. Lots of hot TG's with their HI-Soish Boyfriends. Seems to be a lot of G-club girls there after work. I normally bring my own girls there. There are definately some outstanding girls here, but you have to becareful choosing which to prey upon. It ain't Qbar if you understand.
Cover is 400 with a drink, buy a bottle and get in free. They also serve good thai food.

After 02.00, the best places for me is either Blur at Petchburi Road, or Sin Bar at Nana'...both opens till late..
any other good places as compared to these 2? Please post...

Last night there was some girl outside Qbar handing out cards to Josephines (Rooftop of Soi 1). They said it is open again, and have paid of the police. Has anyone been there the past couple of nights that can confirm it?
Who knows in the Police politics of BKK, maybe that is why Sin got raided last night. Maybe Josephines coughed up enough money for that extra little visit.

These f***ing boneheads deserved to be shut down. They should realise that there is enough market for the few bars that do late night for all to make enough money, but as is the greedy way many try to turn in the other guy meanwhile I seen quite a huge house that one of the men in brown has built in my neighborhood.
Josephines they really deserved to be shut down. It was confirmed that several members got sick after drinking their favorite voBKa there. It is alleged that they are pouring some rock gut booze into the high-end bottles so you are not absolutely sure that you are drinking Absolut.
This was supposedly confirmed by an ex-bartender there. It is not enough to make enough money on the high price drinks, but then subsituting bad booze to boot.
If you go there I would recommend sticking to beer, Bacarri Breezers or water all in bottles.

If soi 1 is open I am sure the police will close down the place the pay less of them. The Police are having a GREAT time. I hope SIN wins and I guess they bring in more cash with people paying 200 THB to go in but SOI 1 just have free loaders.
