300 baht to get into the RedZone? Last night was free at 01:30 but not surprizing because me and my squeeze were the only ones in there. Shame really as it's actually quite a nice joint. Good concept, decor, music, lighting etc. and friendly staff. I hope this place catches on and appeals to more than the post CM2 crowd.
Headed to Sin afterwards which was dead. So went to bed for early exchange of Xmas gifts.

In the intoxicated company of two countrymen and the Qbar team, I stumbled into Red Zone 2 days ago (after Funky Dojo) and I sincerely hope this place becomes THE after hours place in Bangkok. No cover charge when I was there.
As mentioned above, the place was a bit empty, BUT the people that were in there were total nutters - out of their skull but out for nothing but fun. On top of that Red Zone has only been open for a week or so.
The elusive girl we tend to call "Beyonce" was showcasing her typical sensual moves on the glass dancefloor and some guy was handing out those blue shooters. (The bar downstairs will become very popular when girls with skirts start dancing on the 2nd floor glass).
The interior is Glow-like, but (you guessed it) reddish. The owner is a nice chap from New York who has quite a few interesting stories up his sleeve. The exact location is in the alley right across from the side entrance of the Novotel (so opposite the entrance of CM2 in the Novotel building)
If I remember correctly we staggered out at 5am. Not bad for Bangkok (but time for the first round of Ricard where I come from

Ahh then its not the same place sorry for that. I did not know the place name but its around there some were. This place is most Thai. I guess police are cracking down or rathe want more then usual in christmas bonus now so they have close to they cool down.

As RTB posted earlier, TOXIC can stay open for a long time. The last 2 nights it was open until at least 5am. This morning Wowser, D711 and RTB were still in great spirits at 6am when I wandered back in after wimping out early in the evening. I must say, Wowser can uphold his end of ANY drinking contest!

Well its looks like Red Zone is dead and buried. Have gone there 2 consecutive Fridays only to find its been closed down. A real shame as it one of the few after hour places worth going to. Nice Decor A Decent DJ &Aircon! Also I would say at least half of the women there were legit.
This is more then I can say for that sweat Shit Box called B.O or (P.O?) or Dingy Joesphines serving there crap Ethanol VoBKa. Can anyone suggest a DECENT after hours club please.

Found an excellent spot in a place one of my TGFs knew about.
We went after we closed down Q Bar. Lots of young Euros, but it got better as the holdouts from CM2 made it in after 0300.
The best that I can figure, it is in the vicinity of Rung Mung Soi 5. You will need to get vectored in by the guys on the street from there, but if you are cool, they will bring you in. If you are not, they will let you wander around in a dodgy neighborhood.
We left at 0400 to get some chow at Love Scene, and it was going strong, and getting stronger. It is supposed to be open until 0600. I am too old for that shit.
A bottle of JW Red runs 2,000 baht, with free mixers. A totally hot chick was running the register up front. You had to pay there before entering an elevator to go up to the club. Met the manager, good guy.
Sure does beat Ratchada Soi 4.
