BLUR Club is not longer the happening after hours joint...
BiB stop by nightly to check up on the place... they close down at 1am now, moving all patrons to the outdoor seating area with a sign (in Thai) saying Khao Tom (rice porridge) but still sell liquor... just one of many ways around... the place was pretty deserted... except for Thais...
you can tell by the limited amount of cars in the gas station next door...
oh yeah... if you do decide to go in now... after hours... you need someone inside to bring you in... friends or whatever.. and its not just to the front of blur but to the actual metal gates off of New Phetchburi Rd.

That is not exactly true.
Saying that Blur is owned by a few high ranking generals in the Police as well. People I know say its a widespread cleanup before Songkran (typical, based on past years) and the obvious 60th anniversary of the Ascension to the Throne for the King.
But like everything and every year, its just a down cycle, and will pick back up again in a few...

The trick is to find these after hours places while they are still not worn out. Which is a never ending task.

Looks that way. The joint at Rung Mung Soi 5 was closed last night. Allegedly it was a sound system problem, but the girls that I was with (one of whom owns a bar herself) speculated that they needed to engage in some transactional matters.
Or, it could have just been Monday night.
