I really tried hard to avoid reacting to some of the post in this thread for fear of lacking the articulacy to have the point understood and for trepidation of reprisal for my comments. But, lacking fear and common sense, I think I’ll risk the perception of deficient forum decorum and do a little joisting with a flame-thrower, so up front, I beg for your pardon BK!
First, I once e-mailed a fellow member and said I envied his life and I oft times wished I were him. Granted, the envy is derived from seeing only the ostensibly fantastic and “fantasy turned reality”, or, as I like to call it, the “Dear Penthouse, I never thought it would happen to me…” portions of his life and not his daily drudgery and struggles for existence that he, and most of you who life in the LOS, must, I’m sure, endure. I truly felt relegated to being what another poster deemed a Farang Holiday goer toting around his hot FL, thinking he is Hugh Hefner…, getting stupid drunk, falling off barstools, drooling over the sight of a Thai BG that most of you would consider hogs or heffers. But after reading the hackneyed dribble pining for the good old days bull$hit, I realized that I’m the lucky one. True, I live among the “plate throwing bitches…with dogs in mouth”, (ref: DG’s fantastic dinner party in the Z forum), and I am devoid of a single damn bar/pub/club to piss and moan about, but I have not become desensitized or inundated by the sheer number of opportunities that exist right under those of you who live in the LOS have.
For some, it seems, their intemperate living, languor and stagnation have gotten the best of them. Imaginations have dulled; the “newness” of the Thai experience has gone and, is forever, the good old days. To borrow from the Unseen World: Every one must have observed that in going off for a vacation of two or three weeks, or in getting freed in any way from the ruts of every-day life, time slackens its gait somewhat, and the events which occur are apt a few years later to cover a disproportionately large area in our recollections. Well, for me, I’ll cling to that.
True, my current position in life is voluntary and driven by sheer greed, on the toils and suffering of others, but it is what it is. Yet I’ll take the long hours and longer weeks, the inhospitable conditions and the uncertainty of the future, just to experience, however briefly and delusional, the feeling of being Hugh Hefner, being with a non-plate throwing bitch in a less than crowded club and realizing that at that moment, the size of my dick is proportional to the size of my baht wad and I have the body of a Nordic God, because this gorgeous LBFM who most of you have carnal knowledge of, is holding me tight and telling me I’m a hansum man. So I say, GLOW bartendy, purveyor of lousy drinks, a couple more for me and my lady, thank you!
And, because I can, I invite all members who care to come, to GLOW one night when I’m there in November, and we’ll see just how boring it really is!

I am glad you like it however I am not bashing the club, merely reporting on what my experience was. I thought the point of the forum was to share inputs and experiences (among other things).

People just don't THINK !!!!!
How can Glow be empty if all the Toxic gals are bar-fined to go there, and RTB and bartendy come along??
Those are my only memories of Glow,, very nice bar, top class drinks, laying upstairs with a nice Toxic gal surrounded by fellow BKTF members and generally relaxing, listening to good music for a few hours.
Then kicking on somewhere down soi 5 until the sun came up

I don't know how GLOW ranks on the club scale, all I know is that everytime I've been there, both the ladies I've had with me and I have had a great time. They all asked about going back. I understand the owner might be concerned if he doesn't have lot of customers, but I'm not sure why anybody else would. Crowding together with 50, 100, 200 drunk farangs isn't my idea of a great atmosphere. I'd just as soon have the place to myself and the ladies I have with me.
