I have been staying at the Hyatt Erawan since its opening over a decade ago. Spasso was a "class act". A place were you first had a drink, dinner, followed by a great band. As the evening progressed (usually after 11:00 the "locals" started arriving. They were dressed "appropriate" for such an environment. I have nothing against Nana or PP. However, if you were in the mood for a bit more upscale, you would find it at Spasso. Even if many of the girls had been hanging out in these other locals several hours earlier. Some times, you just want to enjoy a "nicer" place.
Today, Spasso looks like NANA2. It has lost all its class. The girls come dressed as though they are dancing on stage in the above locals. No dress code enforced. They are only worried about their ID's and what they have in their bags. Thus if you are looking for a cheap looking girl at very expensive prices; SPASSO is your place.
Sorry for the poor review. I still only stay at the Erawan. I believe it to be one of the best hotels in Bangkok; but do not expect a "class act" at Spasso.

Thermae and Beer Garden. My friend, who used to work in Thermae a few years ago, visited Thermae a few months ago just to check out the scene and old friends. She tells me that now Thermae has lots of young girls suay mak. Is it true? I have not visited Thermae in over a year so I don't know the situation. Last time I wen there more than a year ago, it was full of Young Korean guys and a few hot girls all huddled together.

Sensible review, many of my business contacts enjoy Spasso but it's hardly a classy club, and the ladies are far from hot. Do they have any freelancer club which looks nice in BKK ? Just got back from a great 5nights stay in the Venetian in Macau and feel more unenthusiastic than ever with BKK night and daylife...
