32 Patpong Road.
On the same side of the road as Rose and Star of Something or other.
Good luck finding it, but it's worth it.

Very good Sarika Ranch steaks served with mashed spuds, green beans and carrots plus a small salad and bread. The sashimi is also good and fairly substantial for the price.

We got two steaks, two orders of sashimi, a miso soup for me (too mild for my tastes) and a tall Heineken for about 800 baht.

Also had some Thai dishes on the menu, a full range of Japanese stuff -- tempura, sukiyaki, bentos, etc. -- and a few oddities like an onion soup, or a baked macaroni. That last seemed popular: I saw a few folks order it and get happy.

Sit upstairs, it's nicer.
Tri-lingual menus, English spoken.
Open for lunch and dinner until late.
No reservations required.

When we were in, there was a table of Thai and Japanese VIPs with 2 uniformed Bangkok cops as bodyguards. Weird.

bidu-o onegaishimasu.

I don't recommend straying from the Sarika steak... the other menu items are pretty spotty. One exception might be the Saba fish; he does a good job on these, for those who like the oily little guys. Oldest restaurant in Patpong... a real legend.
