they should have a"NEVER PAY MORE THAN" section on this site for example when taking a cab in bkk never pay more than x? or getting a soapy never pay more than x?

Check the newbie section; Pay for play and th cabs in BKK are metered. Make sure he turns the meter on and like cabbie's all over the world be prepared to go the long way.

Such a section would be meaningless as there are too many different variables (distance, quality, ...) and no single correct price.
I would say never pay a cab more than 500B or a soapy more than 10,000B. Does that help? Didn't think so.

Perhaps a range of prices for the various services and items.
A Soapy would range from 800 B - 6,000 B
Taxi fares, say from airport to Sukhumvit - 300 B (I have never paid more than that, unless I was going out of town to say Chonburi).
Traditional massage: 100-250 B/hour
Heineken beer: 39 B (at 7-11), 85 B at Bamboo Bar, 190 B at CM2, 200 B+ at Spasso, 300 B at Counter 39. 39-300 B.

well because some ppl have absolutely no Idea like it doesnt have to be real specific just ball park you know like if a taxi charges you 1000 baht for an in city ride.. you see Ive read all these posts but it would be a good idea to have the info all in one area without all the extra info you dont need..stories and such.. just so sum1 can print it and use it as a guide just so you know when they try to charge you 8000 baht for a fishbowl girl S/T you know enough to say waiiiit a minute that seems a bit "dogey mate" you know?

A model in Poseidon can be over 6000B and that doesn't include the tip. Take two and you can spend 15,000. (So I'm changing my answer to 15,000.)
ZIMY, I just don't think anything short of an encyclopedia will give you really useful info. We could have a whole thread (and have had plenty) just on Taxi fares. You need to browse the board and gather the info that is specifically useful to you. Just telling you that the max for Poseidon is ~6000B, doesn't really help you when you go into Annie's and they quote you 5000B (which I don't think they would do, it's just an example).
