Dan,
The bigger places - Lucifer and Narcissus - generally play what I guess you would describe as 'cheesy' trance.
If you are looking for non-cheesy trance why not try....

From 9.30 onwards.
If that is still too cheesy for you then there is no hope in BKK.

Mixing NaNa Disco Track List with Rocher Sanchez is kinda weird.... Amazing Thailand.
Roger "was" producing good music in early 90 on Strickly rhythm and was the most prolific along side guys like DJ Sneak.
Few years later, Money, drugs, Women had seriously troubled is musical taste.....
Nothing but "Shitty" Dance remixes......

I would have to disagree with this Statement.
I guess you are refering to Drum and Bass which is coming back really strong on the UK scene.
Assuming I am right, Garage is NO Cross between D&B and House Music.
Junior Vasquez is the name to look for if you want Garage.
Though he is not my favorite.

Well you could give your Heinekens to LY and then you wouldnt be illegal.
To show you how bad the DJ pay is in Thailand - consider this - a friend of mine brought over Marco V (one of the world's top 20 DJs) to play in Samui.
He offered to do a set in Bangkok for US$1000 and no-one would book him (not even Narcissus).

I would have to disagree a lot with this ranking which is more based on what is currently popular rather than pure DJing skills or music selection.
On music selection, peterson might be one of the best though he doen't know how to mix...
On tecnical skills, Carl Cox is amazing, but plays really bad music these days.
Garnier is also amazing but you hardly see him nowdays.

I would have to say Eddie halliwell is one of the best skilled DJ's, with his decks cds and scratching trance/hard trance. His sets at crasher are mind blowing!
Judge Jules makes too many mistakes to be 29th and he also seems to do average sets with randem tunes when ive seen him, and on his saturday radio 1 shows.

Id play a set for £20! thats about a weeks wage for a thai lol and + my tg is very educated, shes been offerd a mangers job after about 3 months in the pizza company pattaya. Add £20 a week to her wage and it should be a doddle!
