I was told that if you want a black version of NEP, go to Cuba. Sounds good to me, when you want to go, I have some free time around about now till xmas. Also a friend told us that Santiago has the most beautiful and plentiful babes, but not sure if they are black, I think they are the latino Jennifer Lopez big arse type, with a good suntan. Cuba, is still a fun place. But not like it used to be. Following some new laws from 1999, it has become very dangerous for the daughters of the revolution to rent their bodies. Girls can be incarcerated for up to 2 years just for "suspected" prostitution. A girl who is seen with you and detained on the spot for questioning should have good answers to explaining why she is with you (a tourist): good answers are showing a family relation, long time established friendly relationship or business one -the interrogation can be quite exhaustive. I was stopped once with a girl, and she was almost sweating blood. I played extremely dumb and ended annoying the policeman so much that she let us go, just to get away from my stupid questions.

There is nothing the authorities hate more than a cooperative foreign language speaking person with a million questions!
I've been "cornered", "questioned", "held aside" and "hauled in" for things you couldn't imagine but so far have been able to get off everytime by being a cop's/official's worst nightmare. Act stupid and ask a question a second and they usually lose interest real quick.
Yes, this may be an oversimplification but I've found I've never ended up in a worse situation than I would have had I kept my mouth shut and said nothing.

some precisions:
(1)many black girls in cuba, especially in santiago. Big ass, small ass, as you wish. But I agree that it's becoming a bit complex to play with the police rules etc... Dominican republic should is much more easy on that aspect, but the girls more professional with maybe a hard attitude. The country is not too safe also.
(2) I don't think in tahiti they are black. They should be polynesian, somehow dark but not that much (but very pretty girls I guess). Airflight tickets very expensive if you flight from europe (2000 $ range I guess).
