Why I think ghosts appear a lot in Thai culture or Asian for that matter is the high fever rates and diet of chillies that can trigger lucid dreams.
Diet of chillies ? Nah. May be the diet of fried insects that they love crunching. See, on the one hand they wouldn't kill cockroaches, it's a sin. The city's underbelly is so full of them but they won't gas the gutters. On the other hand, they don't mind frying them and eating them. This contrarian behaviour then comes back to haunt them in their weak moments as spooks. Imagine, the roach they ate last night is within, asking them how could they do this. Then when they do a blow job on guys like us, some of us, say DG, say kulolo, fall victim and get spooked in turn. Ohhhhh, I can feel the chill rising up my spine.

Who is keeping the list of room numbers at the Nana Hotel where someone has died ?
Another guy overdosed a couple weeks ago !
I know many girls will not go in these rooms 
You would think the Hotel would bring in a group of Monks to "clean" the place of ghosts, And make a big deal out of it,

Bel aire Princess hotel on Soi five in 2003 cost me a few baht.
A hooker recognised the room as the number a death had occurred and refused to f*** in it.
She was so hot and I drunk...I paid for a second one.
I would have at a guess Nana would be a real Casper abode by now with at least a dozen deaths I can recall reading about....and I hardly notice stuff much.
Jumpers....check out druggers...a hanger..Heart attackers....shower head bangers...odd murder and electrocution....so a nice wholesome venue....musty walls and some stories yelling from the bathroom mirrors.
Good old ghost stories eh?
By the way whiskey and chilies and a little too much sun can give you some lucid hauntings.
As for my other experience like on the motor bike...imagination can be strong on a Thai country road at a late hour.
The insects going quiet may be a normal occurrence.
The cooler air could well be a pocket of air that you get in dips where the land is slightly higher or lower.
Fear and wanting to flee is a normal reaction to such things.
I think Asian Ghost beliefs right or wrong have a great place in their culture.
Monks were called to ask a ghost to leave in a house one of my girlfriends lived in.
Little things like doors on cupboards being left open triggered the ghost theory.
It worked needless to say.
But how do you explain things like an old village lady for days claiming the lottery number 588 would be the last three digits and buying it with 500 baht on it.
( in little villages you play the last two or three numbers )
She had claimed her dead son told her.
I remember thinking when those numbers came up the odds were 1000 to one of guessing correctly.
It's not impossible to do.....just a big coincidence.
However, it raised some questions in me at the time.
I guess I had heard dozens of claims in the lottery stakes..( all failing).but never 3 numbers at 1000 to one odds.
Usually people saying they dreamt 55 etc or a snake killed formed an 8
But this old lady was so sure many in the village bought the same number.
I recall at around 350 pm when news of the draw is known..all the village woman screaming in both delight and fear that she had indeed had a visitation as far as they were concerned.
I think her return was something in the order of 100,000 baht. ( only 200 to one for a thousand to one odds)
A massive win in rural Thailaind in some cow village.....
They banned her from future ticket sales.
Her son never gave her numbers again.
To this day the long shot coincidence sticks in my mind

About 5 years ago, in a very famous bar located on Soi 7/1 I saw the reflection of a girl in a mirror, but the girl was NOT in the room...it was maybe 2 PM, I was not drunk or anything and I was the only one standing in front of the mirror at the time...
it was not long but very very real...
I also saw twice some objects move on tables (once a glass, once an ashtray) in the same Soi 6 bar in pattaya...the girls there know about this phenomen and were sort of happy that a farang also noticed it

That's odd, Bel Aire Princess has never being girl friendly and she or the second girl wouldn't even have made it to the elevator before being shown the door by security

Where did I say it was?( you paid to get them in) in those days it was 400 baht joiner.
Renovations took place in that hotel a couple of years later..and maybe they changed?
As for back then you could easily.
And what's more...I took a second room not girl....
And there was no elevator man.
My first wife and I stayed there at least a dozen times.
They ( the staff) resented her as she would constantly complain. About paint hanging off walls and bad plumbing.
Don't let the name fool you it was a dive....Least back then
I liked the pool and food and location but it wasn't all that good...old building
In those days you left the I'd at counter. No problems.
So Tezza in 2003 it ain't odd at all.
Novotel Siam joiner was 1000 baht.
Bay view Siam in Pattaya 800 but free after 4 nights ( don't know why)
If you like joiners try Royal cliff in Pattaya.....1500
I have never been refused hookers in a hotel just charged.
Ps I saw many hookers walk in there....breakfast time was like bier garden with food ( Bel Aire Princess )
